Manchester City 3 Everton 1 City bounce back from Bayern defeat after coming from behind to defeat Everton 3-1 and move up to second in the Premier League.
Romelu Lukaku opened the scoring for the Toffees in the 16th minute,
but the lead was cancelled out moments later by Alvaro Negredo.
Sergio Aguero gave City a 2-1 lead on the stroke of half-time, before
his second-half penalty rebounded off Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard to
ensure the three points.
