Juventus vs Milan Coppa Italia - January 25, 2017

0 التعليقات

Juventus vs AC Milan - Competition: Coppa Italia
Date: Wednesday, January 25 2017
Kick-off Time: 19:45 GMT - 8:45 PM
Venue: Juventus Stadium, Turin, Italy

Juventus team have returned to the winning ways beating Lazio (2-0 on Sunday) after a disappointing away day at Fiorentina and a 2-1 loss seven days before. The Bianconeri have been absolutely phenomenal at their own turf as they have an amazing streak of 27 consecutive home win in Italian Serie A. The Old Lady only hold a one-point advantage over Roma in the league - although they have one game in hand - and they arrive mat this stage of TIM Cup 2016-17 after a 3-2 home win with Atalanta.
Gonzalo Higuain could be rested for this clash, meaning that Mario Mandzukic could join Paulo Dybala up front since Marko Pjaca is not 100% fit. Hernanes is likely to feature from the off, with Miralem Pjanic making room in the number 10 role. New signing Tomas Rincon will probably join the Brazilian in the middle of the park while Daniele Rugani should form the three-man backline with Giorgio Chiellini and Leaonardo Bonucci. Centre-back Benatia will not feature due to him being away on the AFCON with Morocco while Dani Alves is still out through injury.
AC Milan team enter this match on the back of a 1-2 home defeat at the hands of Napoli last Saturday. The Rossoneri currently sit 7th in the league standings and trail Juventus by 11 point, with both teams having one game in hand. Vincenzo Montella's men came out on top on penalties when they met Juve in Doha last month, as they battled it out for the Supercoppa Italiana. Furthermore, the Rossoneri won their last Italian Serie A clash at San Siro back in October while last year's Coppa Italia final (won by Juv) went to extra time.
New signing Gerard Delofeu - on loan from Everton - is expected to make the bench. Talented midfielder Manuel Locatelli returns from suspension and he is expected to start alongside Mario Pasalic and Giacomo Bonaventura. Gianluca Lapadula and Carlos Bacca are in contention to spearhead the attack, with the former slightly favourite over the Colombian striker. Mbaye Niang is likely to leave the club before the transfer market deadline and will not feature. Riccardo Montolivo remain sidelined due to a cruciate ligament injury..

Probable lineups:
Juventus: Neto – Alves, Barzagli, Rugani, Alex Sandro – Sturaro, Rincon, Marchisio – Hernanes – Mandzukic, Dybala.
AC Milan: Donnarumma – Calabria, Romagnoli, Gomez, Antonelli – Bertolacci, Locatelli, Bonaventura – Suso, Lapadula, Niang.

Milan vs Juventus - Competition: Coppa Italia Final
Date: 21 May 2016 - Time: 19:45 BST
Venue: Stadio Olimpico, Roma

Having finished 7th in the Italian Serie A standings, Milan require a Coppa Italia triumph in order avoid a third straight season without European football. The untested manager Cristian Brocchi has seen the Rossoneri show little improvement in his six matches in charge with just two wins to his name. They succumbed to a 1-3 defeat at home against AS Roma last weekend and have no chance to beat Juventus with a such poor performance.
Cristian Brocchi will be missing left-back Luca Antonelli with a leg injury while right-back Ignazio Abate is listed as doubtful. M'Baye Niang could be in contention after almost three months out. Alessio Romagnoli and Davide Calabria are expected to start in midfield, while Giacomo Bonaventura and Keisuke Honda are likely support Carlos Bacca and Mario Balotelli in attack.
Juventus team claimed a record-equalling fifth consecutiveScudetto this season and signed off on their 2015/16 Italian Serie A campaign with an emphatic 5-0 win at home against Sampdoria last weekend. They have won 24 of their last 25 league fixtures before a surprising defeat to Hellas Verona two weeks ago.
Allegri is unable to count upon key centre-back Leonardo Bonucci due to suspension while midfielder Sami Khedira is still out through injury. Patrice Evra and Alex Sandro fighting out for a spot on the left flank, while Stefano Sturaro could be given a start in the middle of the park. Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic are likely to lead the line. Claudio Marchisio is a long-term absentee.
In recent meeting between the two sides, Juventus has won 7 consecutive matches. The Rossoneri lost both encounters with Juventus this season, going down 1-0 in Turin before a 2-1 defeat at San Siro.

Lazio vs Juventus Coppa Italia - January 20, 2016

0 التعليقات
Lazio vs Juventus - Competition: Coppa Italia

Lazio Rome team enter this match off the back of a 2-2 draw with Bologna in Italian Serie A at the weekend. Although they are unbeaten in the last seven games, the Biancocelesti, who beat Inter a couple of weeks ago, are 9th in the Serie A table with only 28 points in 20 matches. In the previous Coppa Italia round, the Eagles had to come from behind as they were pushed hard by fellow Serie A side Udinese in a 2-1 success.
Stefano Pioli should prefer Klose rather than Filip Djordjevic as central forward, while Felipe Anderson and Candreva are likely to play out wide. Dusan Basta, Federico Marchetti and Santiago Gentiletti all miss out. They have joined the likes of De Vrij, Kishna and Morrison on the sidelines.
Juventus have recorded an incredible 11 wins in the last 11 matches in all domestic competitions and they now sit 2nd in the Serie A standings, just two points behind league leaders Napoli. Their most recent league match saw the Old Lady hammering 4-0 Udinese. In the Coppa Italia, the Bianconeri eased past Torino with a 4-0 victory in the last round.
In-form Paulo Dybala should be rested by Massimiliano Allegri as the Italian manager should play with Morata and Zaza up front. Paul Pogba is expected to start after he was benched last time out in Udine. The likes of Norberto Neto, Martin Caceres and Juan Cuadrado are all expected to be in the starting XI. Andrea Barzagli is doubtful and he will be monitored ahead of the kick-off, while Roberto Pereyra and Mario Lemina are both sidelined with injury.
Juventus team have won 2-0 their last encounter with Lazio Rome last month thanks to an own goal from Santiago Gentiletti and one from Dybala. Having also defeated the Biancocelesti in the 2014/2015 Coppa Italia final, the Bianconeri clearly hold a serious psychological advantage over the opposition.

Probable lineups:
Lazio: Berisha – Konko, Bisevac, Hoedt, Radu – Cataldi, Onazi, Lulic – Candreva, Matri, Anderson.
Juventus: Neto – Caceres, Rugani, Chiellini – Cuadrado, Pogba, Sturaro, Hernanes, Evra – Zaza, Morata.

Fiorentina vs SSC Napoli Coppa Italia final - May 3, 2014

0 التعليقات

AC Fiorentina vs SSC Napoli
Competition: Coppa Italia − 2013/2014, Final
Match date: 3 May 2014
Venue: Stadio Olimpico, Rome, Italie

Vincenzo Montella’s men can approach the final with confidence having won in Naples in March. So they have beaten SSC Napoli twice this season and, furthermore, they have recorded three wins in previous four league matches, with the team netting no less than 10 goals in those encounters.
Cuadrado misses out with a ban following a booking in the second leg of the semi-final with Udinese. Mario Gomez is still out of contention while Giuseppe Rossi might recover in time to play a parta against Partenopei. Other good news come from Borja Valero and Gonzalo Rodriguez as both have resumed training.
SSC Napoli team head into the match against Viola following back-to-back draws with the likes of Udinese and Inter Milan. They need just one more point to secure the 3rd place Champions League spot which they could easily get against Sampdoria or Cagliari who they play next week at home. Napoli has eight points more then Fiorentina in the Italian League.
Higuain is expected to start after recovering from an ankle problem, while Christian is also available for selection. If the former Real Madrid striker fails to recover, Zapata should play in the starting-lineup. Goalkeeper Rafael and right back Zuniga remain sidelined.

Fiorentina (4-3-3): Neto – Tomovic, Rodriguez, Savic, Pasqual – Aquilani, Pizarro, Valero – Joaquin, Matos, Ilicic.
SSC Napoli (4-2-3-1): Reina – Henrique, Albiol, Fernandez, Ghoulam – Inler, Jorginho – Callejon, Hamsik, Mertens – Higuain.

AS Roma vs SSC Napoli 04-02-2014 Coppa Italia

0 التعليقات
After starting 2014 with a demoralising 3-0 defeat against runaway leaders Juventus, the "Giallorossi" have been spurred into life with five consecutive victories. They have registered 11 home wins in 13 games this season and just two goals conceded. Roma did remarkably well to eliminate Juventus in the quarter-finals of the Italian Cup and they are certainly brimming with confidence ahead of the Napoli game.
Daniele De Rossi and Kevin Strootman have both overcome from their respective injuries. As Dodò and Federico Balzaretti are injured, Vasilis Torosidis is expected to start at left-back, while Miralem Pjanic faces a late fitness test. Roma's last round of Serie A against Parma was postponed due to a bad weather so they will be fresher than opponents.
Third-placed Napoli suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat at Atalanta last Sunday and now they took just two points from last three league fixtures. Rafael Benitez put himself forward for much of the blame with a bit of the famed Rafa rotation, benching Marek Hamsik and Gonzalo Higuain with this Coppa fixture in mind.
The visitors are likely to be without long-term absentees Behrami, Zuniga and Mesto. New signings Henrique and Faouzi Ghoulam could play some part.
Napoli have only managed two victories in the last seven on the road, losing the two clashes against Roma held at the Stadio Olimpico in the past 12 months.

Possible line-ups:
AS Roma (4-3-3): De Sanctis – Maicon, Benatia, Castan, Torosidis – Nainggolan, De Rossi, Strootman – Florenzi, Totti, Gervinho.
SSC Napoli (4-2-3-1): Reina – Maggio, Britos, Albiol, Ghoulam – Inler, Jorginho – Insigne, Hamsik, Mertens – Higuain.

AS Roma vs Juventus Coppa Italia - January 21, 2014

AS Roma vs Juventus - Competition: Italian Coppa Italia
Match date: 21 January 2014 - Kick Off Time: 19:45 GMT - 8:45 PM
Venue: Stadio Olimpico, Italy

In the Italian Serie A, AS Roma are eight points behind league leaders Juventus. They took their clean-sheet tally in league matches to 13 from 20 games with Saturday’s 3-0 win over Livorno. With four wins in their last six Serie A fixtures, they have opened up a useful gap on third placed Napoli, and have solidified their position in their Champions League qualification spots. The Giallorossi come in the quarter final after won with minimal 1:0 over Sampdoria.
Rudi Garcia was aware of the importance of this clash and rest some of his key players from the last match against Livorno. Maicon didn't play at all, while the captain Francesco Totti and new signing Radja Nainggolan entered the match in the second half. Federico Balzaretti remains on the sidelines, whereas Daniele De Rossi is doubtful through a toe injury and fever. Ljajic and Mattia Destro should start from the bench. new signing Michel Bastos will be unlikely on the pitch.
  • Probable lineups AS Roma (4-3-3): De Sanctis – Maicon, Benatia, Castan, Dodo – De Rossi, Nainggolan, Strootman – Florenzi, Totti, Gervinho.

Juventus come in this match in great form and have 12 wins in a row. in the Serie A conceiding only 4 goals. Anyway, the Old Lady showed severe defensive weaknesses in the weekend’s triumph over Sampdoria, so they will certainly be looking to improve at the back, while staying ruthless up front. The Bianconeri hammered minnows Avelino in the last 16 stage to earn a clash with AS Roma.
Conte will probably play with Giovinco and Quagliarella in the attack. Also Bonucci and Pirlo, who have not played in the last match are expected to be in the team. Vucinic has move to Inter Milan while new signing Guarin will not be available. Pogba and Vidal could play in the second half.
AS Roma have only lost once this season and it happened against Juventus two weeks ago with three unanswered goals. In twelve matches played at home so far this season (11 league and 1 cup), Roma are undefeated and have scored 28 goals and conceded 2.
  • Probable lineups Juventus (3-5-2): Storari – Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini – Lichtsteiner, Padoin, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah – Quagliarella, Giovinco.
