Liverpool vs Arsenal Premier League - 29-12-2018

0 التعليقات

Liverpool vs Arsenal- Competition: Premier League
Date: 29 December 2018 - Kick-off Time: 17:30 GMT
Venue: Anfield, Liverpool

Liverpool team head into their final game of 2018 with a six-point lead at the top of the table having won 16 and lost none of their opening 19 fixtures. They beat Newcastle 4-0 on Boxing Day while Man City suffered their second straight loss. Salah rediscovered form and Jurgen Klopp's men have netted 14 goals in their last five across competitions. The last time the Reds didn't win in Premier League was when they drew the reverse fixture against City 1-1 last month. The last two meetings between Liverpool and Arsenal have both resulted in draws. Anyway, the Reds have bagged comfortable wins in both of the sides’ last two head-to-head clashes at this ground.
Jurgen Klopp may switch back to a 4-3-3 for the visit of free-scoring Arsenal. James Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum could be joined by Fabinho in the central midfield three while James Milner remains out after missing the Newcastle match last time out. Naby Keita and Adam Lallana provide further options in the engine room. Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino having started in all of the meetings against the "big six" sides this season and are expected to form the front trio, altough Xherdan Shaqiri is the in-form man. The back four are set to remain unchanged given the magnitude of the fixture.
Arsenal team ended their disappointing two-match losing streak – 3:2 to Southampton in the top flight and 0-2 against Tottenham (0-2) in the League Cup – with a 3-1 win over Burnley last week. Anyway, they failed to beat Brighton on the road on Boxing Day (1-1) and  dropped out of the top four in the league standings. Anyway, they are only two points shy of Chelsea in fourth and they certainly have enough attacking talent to remain in the race for UCL qualification. The Gunners have only won one of their previous five league matches on the road and their lack of clean sheets (none away from home and just three in total) is a major concern.
Laurent Koscielny is unlikely to feature after being forced off last time out, joining Hector Bellerin, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Shkodran Mustafi and Nacho Monreal, Rob Holding, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Danny Welbeck and Emile Smith-Rowe on the sidelines. Ozil was hauled off at half-time against Brighton and will be benched, with Aaron Ramsey favourite to replace the German ebhind the front duo formed by Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The likes of Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira will anchor the midfield while Granit Xhaka could be required to play at the back.

Probable lineups:
Liverpool (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson; Wijnaldum, Henderson, Fabinho; Salah, Firmino, Manè
Arsenal (3-4-1-2): Leno; Lichtsteiner, Sokratis, Xhaka; Maitland-Niles, Kolasinac, Torreira, Guendouzi; Ramsey; Aubameyang, Lacazette.

Champions League: Juventus vs Manchester United - November 7, 2018

0 التعليقات

Juventus vs Manchester United - Competition: UEFA Champions League
Date: 7 November 2018 - Kick-off Time: 20:00 GMT - 21:00 CET
Venue: Allianz Stadium, Torino

Juventus claimed a 1-0 victory at Old Trafford a fortnight ago, and maintained their 100 per cent winning record in Champions League this season, having already beaten Valencia (0-2 away) and Young Boys (3-0 at home) in the first two fixtures. They are one of only two teams yet to concede in the competition. Furthermore, Juve haven't lost a Champions League group stage match at home since December 2009. The Old Lady also top the Italian Serie A table 6 points clear of SSC Napoli and Inter, having dropped only two points so far after 11 matches when held 1-1 at home by Genoa.
Juventus team are in the middle of an injury crisis. Emre Can, Federico Bernardeschi, Douglas Costa and Moses Kean are all injured while Joao Cancelo and Giorgio Chiellini are major doubts. Plus, Leonardo Spinazzola is unlikely to be involved due to a lack of match fitness. Manager Massimiliano Allegri is likely to play with a 4-3-3 formation, opting for the "heavy tridente" upfront formed by Mario Mandzukic, Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala. The likes of Sami Khedira, Rodrigo Betancur and Miralem Pjanic will anchor the midfield.
Manchester United team extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to four matches with their 2-1 win at Bournemouth on Saturday. Anyway, Jose Mourinho's men were exposed on too many occasions and would have been out of the match by half-time had the Cherries taken their chances. In UCL, the Red Devils are second in the table with four points (two ahead of Valencia) after the Spanish outfit surprisingly only managed a draw with group minnows Young Boys last time out. They were outclassed in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford two weeks ago despite narrowly losing to Juve (0-1).
Josè Mourinho dropped Lukaku from United's squad entirely for the weekend's win at Vitality Stadium but the Belgian is expected to lead the line at the Allianz Stadium, flanked by Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez. The likes of Juan Mata and Marcus Rashford provide further offensive options.   Ander Herrera is expected to join Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic in the middle of the park while Victor Lindelof is favourite over Phil Jones and Eric Bailly for the centre back spot alongside Chris Smalling. Antonio Valencia, Marouane Fellaini and Diogo Dalot remain sidelined.

Probable lineups:
Juventus: Szczesny – Cancelo, Bonucci, Chiellini, Alex Sandro – Bentancur, Pjanic, Matuidi – Cuadrado, Dybala, Ronaldo.
Manchester United: de Gea – Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw – Fred, Matic, Pogba – Rashford, Lukaku, Martial.

Liverpool vs Manchester City Premier League 07-10-2018

0 التعليقات

Liverpool vs Manchester City - Competition: Premier League

Liverpool team are currently runner-up to Manchester City only on goal difference, after both teams accumulated 19 points from a possible 21. Jurgen Klopp's men are winless in their last three outings, having lost at the hands of Chelsea in English FL Cup and SSC Napoli in UCL, and drawn against the Blues in EPL last weekend. The Reds are undefeated in their last 24 home matches in Premier League have kept clean sheets in their last 8 league matches at Anfield. As to direct matches, Liverpool have won their last six home matches against City.
Naby Keita should be available despite a back injury picked up in Naples on Wednesday. Jordan Henderson, who replaced Keita on Wednesday evening, looks a stronger bet to start against City. Up front Xherdan Shaqiri and Daniel Sturridge are fresh options in attack given that Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino could be tired. Klopp could make changes also at the back.  Nathaniel Clyne, Alberto Moreno, Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip are the understudies should the German make a change or two in defence.

City have only dropped two points this season, a 1-1 draw against newly-promoted Wolves. They enter this match on the back of a pivotal victory in Champions League - 1:2 against Hoffenheim in midweek - as they were upset by Lyon at the Etihad Stadium in the first round. Domestically, Pep Guardiola's men have won 5 matches in a row, outscoring their opponents 15-1. The Citizens have won 11 of their last 13 away matches in all competitions but have conceded 7 goals in their last two visits to Anfield, including last season's UCL mauling.
Pep Guardiola is hopeful that Benjamin Mendy will return but Kevin De Bruyne remains sidelined. Sergio Aguero has been playing through the pain barrier of late due to a foot problem, but is once again favourite to start ahead of Gabriel Jesus in attack. The Argentine is likely to be flanked by Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sanè, with Riyad Mahrez main alternative. David and Bernardo Silva will start in midfield alongside Fernandinho, despite Ilkay Gundogan is pushing to feature from the off. Fabian Delph, Claudio Bravo and Eliaquim Mangala remain sidelined.

Liverpool vs Paris Saint-Germain 18-09-2018 Champions League

Liverpool vs Paris Saint-Germain  - Competition: UEFA Champions League
Date: 18 September 2018 - Kick-off Time: 20:00 BST - 21:00 CET
Venue: Anfield, Liverpool

Liverpool team have a 100% winning record in the Premier League after five games this season, having beaten Tottenham 21 at Wembley last weekend. Prior to that, the Reds thrashed at home West Ham (4-0) and managed to beat Crystal Palace (0-2), Brighton (1-0), and Leicester City (1-2). The Merseysiders will now face a difficult period of fixtures with PSG, Chelsea twice, Man City and Napoli SSC all within next six matches.
Captain Henderson should be Jurgen Klopp's only change, with James Milner making room. Roberto Firmino suffered a nasty eye injury last time out but should start up front, forming the usual trio with Mo Salah and Sadio Manè. As alternative, Klopp could give Daniel Sturridge a rare start. Dejan Lovren and Adam Lallana remain sidelined for the hosts, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is a longer-term absentee. The defense will remain unchanged, with Joe Gomez, Virgil Van Dijk, Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold protecting Alisson's goal.

Paris Saint-Germain team also have a 100 per cent record this season having recorded a 4-0 win against St. Etienne at the weekend despite resting Neymar and Mbappe. The French powerhouses have already scored 21 competitive goals this season and also kicked off the new campaign with a thrashing 4-0 Super Cup win over Monaco. Les Parisiens have yet to progress past the quarter-finals since their Ligue 1 dominance began. Last year their UCL journey was ended by Real Madrid in the last 16 round.
Gianluigi Buffon and Marco Verratti are both suspended for the visitors while Dani Alves and Layvin Kurzawa are out through injury. Alphone Areola will start between the posts while Marquinhos may be required in the middle of the park as defensive midfielder. Neymar and Kylian Mbappè returns in the offensive midfield trio alongside Di Maria, behind the lone striker Edinson Cavani. At the back, Juan Bernat and Meunier will start as full backs, Thiago Silva and Presnel Kimpembè will form the central pair.

Probable lineups:
Liverpool: AlissonAlexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson – Milner, Wijnaldum, Keita – Salah, Firmino, Mane.

Portugal vs Spain World Cup - Group B - 15-06-2018

0 التعليقات
Portugal vs Spain - Competition: World Cup 2018

Portugal team secured a 3-0 victory over Algeria in their last match Friendly. Anyway, their pre-tournament warm-up matches were very much a mixed bag with a 3-0 home defeat to the Netherlands as well as draws with Tunisia (2-2) and Belgium (0-0). They have only lost inside 90 minutes three times in the 25 matches since they won Euro 2016. These two teams last met at EURO 2012, in a historic semi-final. The match ended with no goals and Spain advanced to the final on penalties.
Andre Silva and Ronaldo are expected to lead the line in a 4-4-2 formation, despite Goncalo Guedes and Bruno Fernandes impressed against Algeria last time out. Pepe looks sure to start at the heart of Portugal's defence with Bruno Alves, Jose Fonte and Ruben Dias competing for the other spot. Cedric Soares should get the nod over Pereira for the right back position while Joao Mario is expected to partner William Carvalho in the middle of the park. Bernardo Silva and Ricardo Quaresma should start as offensive wingers.

Julen Lopetegui has been sacked, following the news he will take charge at Real Madrid this summer.  Hierro is the new manager. Spain, world champions in 2010, crashed out of the 2014 World Cup at the group stage and they did not fare much better in the Euros two years ago. The Spaniards haven’t been too convincing in their pre-tournament warm-up games with a narrow win over Tunisia and a draw with Switzerland. However, they topped their World Cup qualification group ahead of Italy, with a 3-0 home win over the Azzurri their highlight during the campaign.
Gerard Piquè is a major doubt as the Barcelona defender could miss the first game because of an injury. Jordi Alba and Ramos are likely starters in defense while Dani Carvajal is not 100% fit and could be replaced by Alvaro Odriozola. The likes of Diego Costa, Rodrigo and Iago Aspas are all vying for a place in attack, with Isco and David Silva expected to play out wide. In midfield, Koke and Thiago Alcantara are in contention for a starting berth alongside Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets.

Roma vs Liverpool - Competition: UEFA Champions League
Date: 2 May 2018 - Kick-off Time: 19:45 BST - 20:45 CET
Venue: Stadio Olimpico, Roma

AS Roma team are chasing a 5-2 deficit from the first leg and will now be relying on the cauldron of the Olimpico to try and put some pressure on the travelling Reds. They must repeat their Barcelona heroics in the previous round, as they beat the Catalans 3-0 at home after a 4-1 away defeat in the first leg.  The Giallorossi have won 4 from 5 UCL games at home this season, keeping a clean sheet in each of these matches. They secured a 4-1 victory over Chievo over the weekend with El Shaarawy, Dzeko and Schick all on the scoresheet. The result keeps Roma in third place level on points with Lazio. Eusebio Di Francesco's men have conceded in 8 of their last 9 league games at home.
Kevin Strootman and Diego Perotti are serious doubts for Roma after picking up knocks at Anfield. As a result, Lorenzo Pellegrini should join Radja Nainggolan and Daniele De Rossi in te middle of the park. Manager Di Francesco is likely to revert to a 4-3-3 starting system. In defense, Juan Jesus will be dropped on bench with Federico Fazio and Kostas Manolas playing as centre backs, Aleksandr Kolarov and Alessandro Florenzi retaining their berth as full backs. Up front, Edin Dzeko will spearhead the attack, probabli flanked by Stephan El Shaarawy and Patrick Schick. The likes of Gregoire Defrel and Rick Karsdorp remain sidelined.

After a thrilling 5-2 success over AS Roma last week, Liverpool are now unbeaten in 15 UCL fixtures and have scored at least two goals in eight of their last nine matches in the tournament. In the previous round they knocked Manchester City out with a 5-1 aggregate scoreline, winning both legs (3-0 at home, 2-1 at Etihad). Their counter attacks have already proven to be lethal when their opponents need to overcome a deficit. Anyway, the Reds struggled to find a way past Stoke City at Anfield having drawn 0-0 last weekend. That was their second draw in a row having recorded a stalemate at WBA a week before.
Chamberlain suffered a season-ending injury in the first leg and is expected to be replaced in midfield by Georginio Wijnaldum. With Emre Can and Adam Lallana still out through injury, James Milner and Jordan Henderson will retain their starting berth in the middle of the park. Andrew Robertson should come back in at left back, with Trent Alexander-Arnold shaking off a knock to start on the other flank, leaving Virgil van Dijk and Dejan Lovren in the heart of the backline. Joel Matip is a long-term injury. Up front, Sadio Mane should come back to start alongside Roberto Firmino and Salah in a three-man forward line.

Roma last 5 matches:
15/04/18 Lazio 0 – 0 Roma
18/04/18 Roma 2 – 1 Genoa
21/04/18 SPAL 0 – 3 Roma
24/04/18 Liverpool 5 – 2 Roma
28/04/18 Roma 4 – 1 Chievo

Liverpool last 5 matches:

21/04/18 West Brom 2 – 2 Liverpool
24/04/18 Liverpool 5 – 2 Roma
28/04/18 Liverpool 0 – 0 Stoke City

Probable lineups:
AS Roma: Alisson – Florenzi, Fazio, Manolas, Kolarov – Strootman, de Rossi, Nainggolan – Schick, Perotti, Dzeko
Liverpool: Karius – Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, van Dijk, Robertson – Milner, J. Henderson, Wijnaldum – M. Salah, Firmino, Mane.

Real Madrid vs Juventus Champions League - April 11, 2018

0 التعليقات

Real Madrid vs Juventus - Competition: UEFA Champions League

Real Madrid enter the return match on the back of a 1-1 draw in the Madrid Derby with Atletico, a game in which Zinedine Zidane rested several of his regular players. In their last six games at the Bernabeu, Real have scored a staggering 22 goals. Conversely, they have also conceded eight. The Blancos have found their top form too late to challenge Barcelona for La Liga title as they sit 4th in the table, 15 points from the summit. Zidane's side has kept just six clean sheets in 23 home games this season. The Galacticos have conceded in eight of their last ten home matches but they have not lost a Champions League home match since March 2015.
Ramos is suspended for the hosts while Nacho and Jesús Vallejo are also injury doubts. As a result, Casemiro could partner Raphael Varane as centre back, with Mateo Kovacic replacing the Brazilian in the middle of the park. Dani Carvajal and Marcelo will retain their starting berth as full backs, as well as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric in midfield. Up front, Isco will retunr to the starting XI, supporting the attacking duo formed by Ronaldo and Karim Benzema. The likes of Marcos Asensio and Gareth Bale are the offensive alternatives.

Juventus team  have warmed up this weekend with a 4-2 away victory at rock bottom side Benevento. The Bianconeri still boast a 4 point lead at the top of the Serie A standings. Domestically, the Old Lady have won 13 of a possible 16 games away from the Allianz Stadium and have lost only one. Max Allegri's men  currently hold an 18-match unbeaten streak in Serie A. They have also shown they can beat European giants away from home in Champions League - we all remember how they knocked out Tottenham by winning 2-1 at Wembley. Anyway, no team has ever overturned a 3-0 home defeat in the Champions League.
The visitors will miss the services of Paulo Dybala after he was sent off in the first leg, while Rodrigo Bentancur is also suspended due to an accumulation of bookings. Mario Mandzukic and Gonzalo Higuain appear sure starters up front, while Juan Cuadrado and Douglas Costa are in contention for the remaining sport in attack, as winger Federico Bernardeschi remains out indefinitely with a knee injury. Miralem Pjanic and Medhi Benatia return for the Italian champions, who sorely missed the duo in the first leg. The former will start as playmaker in midfield, wit Blaise Matuidi and Sami Khedira on his flanks. The latter will form the four man backline with Giorgio Chiellini, Mattia De Sciglio and Alex Sandro.

Liverpool team fell to a disappointing 2-1 defeat at the hands of Man United in their last game but remain 4th in the EPL table, with a 4 points margin over 5th-placed Chelsea. Prior to that, the Reds secured their qualification to the Champions League quarter finals thanks to a goalless draw at Anfield Road against FC porto (the first leg in Portugal saw Jurgen Klopp's men win 5-0). After 15 league games at home, Liverpool are yet to lose, and they have won nine times.
Nathaniel Clyne is the only reported injury concern for Liverpool this weekend. Jurgen Klopp may decide to hand recalls to Jordan Henderson and Joel Matip for this clash. The former should replace either James Milner or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in central midfield while the latter is an alternative to Dejan Lovren at centre-back. No changes are expected up front where Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Man+ are expected to feature from the off.
Watford team are closing on on securing their English Premier League status for another season. They sit 10th in the table, with a 9 points margin over Crystal Palace and Stoke City in 18th and only eight games remaining. The Hornets have a strong home record with 13 points earned in the last 5 outings at Vicarage Road but their away record is pretty poor. They put in a rather uninspiring performance against Arsenal team as they were hammered 3-0 at Emirates last weekend. The Hornets have lost 7 of their last 8 away matches in EPL and failed to scored in the last 4 on the travel.
New Hornets' manager Javi Gracia will be without eight players for the trip to Anfield. Kiko Femenía may continue in an advanced position on the right flank at the expense of Andre Carrillo. Richarlison will be moved to a central role, with Roberto Pereyra stationed on the left wing. Troy Deeney should keep his place as central striker. Younes Kaboul, Molla Wague, Tom Cleverley and Christian Kabasele all remain sidelined, while Nathaniel Chalobah and Gerard Deulofeu are long-term absentees.

Paris Saint-Germain vs Real Madrid 06-03-2018 Champions League

0 التعليقات
PSG vs Real Madrid - Competition: UEFA Champions League
Date: 6 March 2018 - Kick-off Time: 19:45 GMT - 20:45 CET
Venue: Parc des Princes, Paris

Paris Saint-Germain team unsurprisingly sit top of the Ligue 1 table with a 14 point gap over AS Monaco and their home record comprises of 14 straight league wins with 54 goals scored and 9 conceded.. They were defeated by a 3-1 score-line in the reverse leg at Bernabeu, conceding two goals in the last 7 minutes of the match. Since the first leg meeting PSG have won Ligue 1 fixtures at home to Strasbourg (5-2), Marseille (3-0) and most recently 2-0 at Troyes. Unay Emery's men boast a strong home record in Europe - they are unbeaten in their last 12 Champions League matches in Paris and scored 15 goals in 3 home games in the group stage this season including a 3-0 win over Bayern Munich team.
Star player Neymar is out for at least two months while Kylian Mbappe can recover from an ankle injury in time to play on Tuesday. Neymar's injury should present Ángel Di Maria with an opportunity to prove a point against his former club, as the Argentine is expected to lead the line alongside Kylian Mbappé and Edinson Cavani. Thiago Silva is expected to make a return to the lineup after missing the first leg. Marquinho is also a doubt with a thigh problem but Dani Alves is expected to make a return. In midfield, Marco Verratti will be the playmaker, wit Adrien Rabiot and Lo Celso on his flanks. Timothy Weah, the son of Liberia president and ex-PSG and AC Milan team striker George Weah, could play at some stage.

After a 1-0 defeat at Espanyol, Real Madrid team returned to winning wins with a 3-1 victory at home to Getafe at the weekend, to remain in third place in La Liga behind Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. This result makes it six wins from their last seven games, with them scoring an impressive 23 goals in that period. In the group stage matches in UCL, the Blancos won both at Dortmund (3-1) and Apoel (6-0) either side of a 3-1 defeat at Tottenham. The defense remains a concern as Zinedine Zidane's men have kept only a clean sheet in the last 11 games in all competitions.
Zinedine Zidane has had to do without Toni Kroos and Luka Modric in recent weeks, and while both men returned to training on Sunday, this game will surely come too soon for either to start. Mateo Kovacic should start alongside Casemiro and Isco in the middle of the park.Marcelo also returned to training with the first-team but Theo Hernandez is expected to get the nod as left-back. Gareth Bale played in the last fixture against Getafe and is fit enough to lead the line alongside Karim Benzema and Ronaldo.

Probable lineups:
Paris Saint-Germain: Areola – Dani Alves, T. Silva, Kimpembe, Kurzawa – Verratti, Rabiot, Draxler – di Maria, Cavani, Mbappe (Pastore)
Real Madrid: Navas – Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo – Casemiro, T. Kroos, Modric – Ronaldo, Bale, Asensio.

Porto vs Liverpool Champions League - 14-02-2018

Porto vs Liverpool - Competition: UEFA Champions League
Date: 14 February 2018 - Kick-off Time: 19:45 GMT - 20:45 CET
Venue: Estadio Do Dragao, Porto

FC Porto team are flying high domestically this season. The Dragoes are setting the pace in the Portuguese Liga, with a 2 points advantage over Benfica despite they have a game in hand. They maintained their fine form with a 4-0 win at Chaves over the weekend and have dropped points on just four occasions this season. FC Porto have already bagged 53 goals in 21 Primeira Liga matches. Furthermore, their defence has been solid of late, conceding just two goals in their last seven matches across all competitions. As to the UCL, Sergio Conceiçao's men needed a 5-2 victory over AS Monaco in their final game to book their spot in the knockout phase as Group G runners-up behind Besiktas.
Sergio Conceicao is without the suspended Felipe while the likes of Ivan Marcano, Vincent Aboubakar, Danilo Pereira and Andre Andre are all doubtful. He may start his side in a 4-4-2 formation here, with Moussa Marega and Tiquinho Soares upfront. Yacine Brahimi and Jesus Corona will start out wide, while Oliveira and Hector Herrera will anchor the midfield. The like of Ricardo Pereira and Alex Telles will play as right and left back.

Liverpool team enter this clash on the back of a 2-0 away win at Southampton. Prior to that, they drew 2-2 at home against Tottenham and trashed 3-0 Huddersfield on the travel. The Reds now sit 3rd in the English Premier League, 2 points shy of 2nd placed Manchester United. As to the Champions League, Jurgen Klopp’s team was one of just four to emerge from the group stage without tasting defeat. They topped their group unbeaten with 3 wins and 3 draws to finish 3 points clear of Sevilla, with Maribor and Spartak Moscow eliminated.  Away from home they drew 1-1 in Moscow, hammered Maribor 7-0 and then let a 3 goal lead slip in a 3-3 draw at Sevilla.
Jordan Henderson should come in for the suspended Emre Can, while Adam Lallana is getting close to a starting place after coming on for the last 10 minutes of the win at St Mary's. Joe Gomez is a doubt for the visitors, while Nathaniel Clyne is unlikely to feature. As a result, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson will play as full back, with Joel Matip and Virgil Van Dijk expected to be paired at the heart of the back. The likes of Sadio Manè, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salh will continue to play up front, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Dominic Solanke primary back-up options.

Probable lineups:
FC Porto: Jose Sa – R. Pereira, Reyes, Marcano, Telles – Corona, Herrera, Oliveira, Brahimi – Marega, Soares.
Liverpool: Karius – Alexander-Arnold, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson – Oxlade-Chamberlain, Henderson, Wijnaldum – Salah, Firmino, Mane.

Tottenham vs Arsenal Premier League - February 10, 2018

Tottenham vs Arsenal - Competition: English Premier League

Tottenham team enter this match on the back of a 2-0 victory over Newport County in English FA Cup last Wednesday. As to the Premier League, they clawed their way back to hold Liverpool to a 2-2 draw last weekend. Spurs now sit a place and four points above Arsenal coming into the match and are enjoying a 12 match unbeaten run. Mauricio Pochettino's men are are unbeaten in their last three North London derbies at home against Arsenal in the league, winning two.
Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Harry Winks all returned from injury to start in midweek but they are all expected to make the bench. Lucas Moura is also available for Tottenham after he was forced to miss the FA Cup last time out. Anyway, Mauricio Pochettino will keep faith in his usual attack, with Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Son Heung Min supporting the lone striker Harry Kane upfront. Serge Aurier played the full 90 minutes in midweek, so Kieran Tripper looks poised to start at right-back. Davinson Sanchez, Jan Vertonghen and Ben Davies will complete the back four while Eric Dier and Mousa Dembelè are likely to anchor the midfield, with Victor Wanyama providing cover.
Arsenal were in blistering form against Everton last time out and triumphed 5-1, with new signings Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mhkitaryan in impressive form. Arsene Wenger's side is one of the best home team in the top flight but their away record is very poor. The Gunners have won only one of their last eight competitive games on the road, and have lost back to back games on the travels against Swansea and Bournemouth. In terms of direct matches, Arsenal defeated Tottenham 2-0 when these two met in November at the Emirates Stadium
Arsene Wenger has revealed that Petr Cech is a doubt for the North London Derby, so we will probably see David Ospina defending the Gunners' goal. The Gunners boss may decide to switch from a 4-2-3-1 formation to a slightly more defensive 4-3-3. That would see Jack Wilshere joining Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey in the middle of the park. Up front, Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are expected to start in advanced midfield positions behind striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Alex Iwobi and Alexandre Lacazette provide further options. In defense, Nacho Monreal looks set to be in contention following illness, with Ainsley Maitland Niles and Sead Kolasinac viable alternatives.

07/02/18 Tottenham – Newport County

Real Sociedad vs FC Barcelone Spanish Primera Division 14-01-2018

Real Sociedad vs Barcelona
Competition: Spanish Primera Division
Date: 14 January 2018
Kick-off Time: 19:45 GMT
Venue: Estadio Municipal de Anoeta

No much things to make Real Sociedad optimistic about its ranks before this duel with Barcelona and the only thing on their side is the tradition of their mutual duels. It does not have to mean much, but, psychologically speaking, this duel will help Real Sociedad who is in a pretty bad shape and they were eliminated from the Cup when it was not expected, while they have only one triumph in the previous 07 rounds of the championship.
In two rounds ago, Real Sociedad defeated Sevilla in their field with 3-1 after a solid draw in the Basque derby against Athletic Bilbao, but in the last defeat by Leganes. Coach, Eusebio, kept the same lineup against Sevilla and only Oyarzabal replaced Januzaj, who was injued, but it did not help. Player, Januzaj, is now back, while I.Martinez is injured.

As usuall, FC Barcelona is again dominating the Spanish football, and as things stand now, the team's goal is to get both domestic titles. The championship is practically already won because the second-ranked Athletic Bilbao has 09 points less. Barcelona reached the quarterfinals in the Cup in a very convincing way, after two matches with Celta Vigo. In Vigo, Barcelona played in a combined team and ended with 1-1, but when they played with a much stronger team on Nou Camp, where they defeated Celta Vigo with 5-0. In the championship they made a series of 04 victories in which they scored 12 goals and kept their net clean.
In addition to having the most efficient attack, FC Barcelona also has the best defence in the league. A couple of days ago, the team also reinforced their defence by bringing the Colombian center-back Mina, but the real boost was the arrival of player, Coutinho, who is still injured and will not be able to play. The center-back, Umtiti, is also injured , but while Dembele is fully recovered and Busquets returns after the suspension, so he would try to play a good match against Real Sociedad.

Probable Lineups:
Real Sociedad: Rulli – Odriozola, Raul Navas, D.Llorente, Rodrigues – Zurutuza, Illarramendi, Xabi Prieto – Oyarzabal, Willian Jose, Januzaj
Barcelona: ter Stegen – S.Roberto, Pique, Vermaelen, J.Alba – Busquets, Paulinho, Iniesta – Messi, L.Suarez, Dembele
