0 التعليقات
Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid- 30 October, 2013- Wednesday- 21.00 UK KO

Eager to redeem themselves after that disappointing defeat in El Classico. Los Blancos immediately put the pressure on their opponent and it took them only 14 minutes before getting in front, through their summer signing, Gareth Bale. Bale got his name on the score sheet again when his deflected free kick ended up at the back of Sevilla's net on 27 minutes. Cristiano Ronaldo netted from the spot kick on 32 minutes, but the match just got interesting as moments later, Sevilla pulled one goal back from Ivan Rakitic's spot kick on 38 minutes, before Carlos Bacca made it 3-2 with his effort two minutes later.
Los Blancos were not going to throw away their lead as after the break, they netted for more goals, with Karim Benzema netting a brace on 53 and 80 minutes, while Ronaldo completing his hat-trick by netting two goals on that second period, scoring on 60 and 71 minutes. Sevilla themselves only managed to add one more goal with another effort from Rakitic on 63 minutes.

Chelsea vs Manchester City Premier League - October 27, 2013

0 التعليقات
Stamford Bridge, London will be hosting on 27. October 2013, an English Premier League, 9. round between Chelsea London and Manchester City. The match referee will be Howard Webb.
Chelsea team, under the command of their new (or maybe old) manager is improving with each game. In the last four matches the Blues did not lose scoring as many as 14 goals. They did really well during Tuesday's night Champions League clash against Schalke Gelsenkirchen winning 0:3. Except for Champions League Mourinho hopes his Chelsea will fight for the Premiership victory. After eight games the Blues have on their account five victories, two draws and only one defeat what ensures them the second place just two points behind leading Arsenal. The outcome of their home games is pretty impressive - 10 goals scored with only 2 conceded. Everyone hopes to see many goals also on Sunday.
  • Chelsea (4-4-1-1): Cech, Ivanovic; Terry, Luiz, Cole; Mata, Ramires, Lampard, Hazard; Oscar; Eto'o.
Manchester City, alike Chelsea London, is perceived to be one of the candidates for winning the Premiership title. After eight games, five of which were won, two lost and one tied, Manuel Pellegrini's players secure themselves the fourth position. The only two defeats the Citizens suffered away - 2:3 against Cardiff and 2:3 against Aston Villa. Nevertheless, the last two away matches City won - in the Premier League they took three points at White Hart Line, and in the Champions League they managed to win against CSKA Moscow 2:1. It seems the Citizens are no longer under an away-matches curse.
  • Manchester City (4-2-3-1): Hart; Zabaleta, Lescott, Nastasic, Clichy; Fernandinho, Toure; Milner Aguero, Silva; Negredo.

FC Barcelona head into Saturday's El Clasico against Real Madrid having lost their perfect start to the new La Liga season with a 0-0 draw against Osasuna last weekend.
FC Barcelona team is currently leading in the table of the Spanish league; nevertheless, the Catalans did not win the last two games they played. Surprisingly, their away match against Osasuna in Primera Divison ended in a goalless draw. Similarly, Gerardo Martino’s squad did not manage to gain three points during their next game; however, the rival, AC Milan, was much better than the side from Pampelona. Still, Barcelona remain La Liga unbeaten team so far scoring in the nine games 28 goals. Barcelona’s manager still cannot make use of two players, Alba and Afellay, who are injured.
Real Madrid, on the other hand, has been presenting lately a superb form having won four games in a row (two respectively in Champions League and Spanish La Liga). After nine fixtures the Madrid side occupies the third place in the table having scored so far 19 goals (9 less than their rivals from Camp Nou!). Ancelotti’s players lost only one game in Primera Division at Madrid’s derby against Atletico. Last season, then Mourinho’s side, won both La Liga’s El Classicos seizing 2:1 victory at home and surprising 3:1 at Camp Nou. When it comes to the injured players, the midfielder Xabi Alonso is still out of the squad.

Possible line-ups:
Barcelona (4-3-3): Valdes; Adriano, Piquè, Puyol, Dani Alves; Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets; Sanchez, Messi, Neymar.
Real Madrid (4-2-3-1): Lopez; Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo; Illarramendi, Modric; Bale, Isco, Ronaldo; Benzema.

Real Madrid vs Juventus Champions league - October 23, 2013

0 التعليقات

Real Madrid are sitting pretty atop Group B at present having beaten both Copenhagen (4-0 at home) and Galatasaray (6-1 in Turkey) while Juve managed only draws against the other two sides, leaving them four points adrift of the Galacticos.
Antonio Conte's side lost 4-2 at Fiorentina on Sunday, slipping five points behind Serie A leaders Roma while Real Madrid finally produced a promising performance in La Liga, with the team beating Malaga 2-0 at the weekend. Anyway, Real are not unbeatable at home, a fact proved by their 1-0 derby defeat on home soil against Athletico.

Following his cameo appearance against Malaga, Gareth Bale is expected to play more minutes now. So, with the exception of Xabi Alonso, Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has a full squad to choose from, meaning Raphael Varane and Karim Benzema, who both missed the win over Malaga on Saturday with injuries, could return to the starting line-up. Antonio Conte has a lot of injury worries ahead of the Real Madrid game. After skipping the match in Florence due to a missed flight (and Conte's rules), Arturo Vidal suffered a muscular injury that could keep him out. Defender Stephan Lichtsteiner and midfielder Simone Pepe are unlikely to take part in this match through injuries, while strikers Mirko Vucinic and Fabio Quagliarella are also expected to miss the match.
Cristiano Ronaldo has already scored five goals in this season’s Champions League (a hat-trick against the Danes and a brace last time out in Istanbul). The Portuguese star – who was top scorer last season with 12 goals – has now scored 24 goals in his last 20 Champions League appearances.

Possible line-ups:
Real Madrid (4-2-3-1): Lopez; Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo; Khedira, Illarramendi; Ronaldo, Isco, Bale; Benzema.
Juventus (3-5-2):
Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Isla, Asamoah, Pirlo, Pogba; Marchisio; Tevez, Llorente.

Marseille vs Napoli 1-2 Highlights 22-10-2013 Champions League

Marseille 1-2 SSC Napoli (Group F):
42′ 0-1 Callejon J. // 67′ 0-2 Zapata D. // 86′ André Ayew 1-2

Marseille vs Napoli 0-1 (Jose Callejon scored goal vs Marseille)
Marseille vs Napoli 0-2 (Zapata scored goal vs Marseille)
Marseille vs Napoli 1-2 (Ayew goal vs Napoli)

Napoli continue to showcasing their threat in the Champions League group stage fixture after snatching an important away win over Marseille on Tuesday.
Eager to redeem their disappointing defeat over Arsenal in previous match day, Napoli were not shy on putting on a positive display on their travel to France. In a very tight encounter, it was the Italian side that got things going when they managed to get themselves in front through Jose Callejon three minutes before half time break.
Trailing by a goal, Marseille were pushing harder in search for an equalizing goal after the break, but instead of leveling things, they found themselves in further trouble as Daniel Zapata netting home the second one for the Partenopei on 67 minutes. The home side were still not keen on giving up easily, but their best effort on that match was pulling one goal back from Andre Ayew's effort four minutes before the final 90 mark.

In the Serie A, AC Milan have only posted eleven points after eight matches with just a plus one goal difference. So things aren’t going great for them, but they won on the weekend as a build up for this one, beating Udinese 1-0. Anywya, they’re already 13 points off the pace-setters Roma who have made a sensational start to the season. Still, injuries mean the Rossoneri will not be at full strength in the toughest fixture of the Group Stage.
Balotelli is expected to miss the match with injury. Daniele Bonera, Mattia De Sciglio, Giampaolo Pazzini (all knee) and Stephan El Shaarawy (foot) are also set to miss the clash as Milan's injury woes persist. Christian Abbiati suffered physical problems ahead of the encounter with Udinese and look likely skip this one as well. Gabriel started in Abbiati's absence, but as he's not in the Champions League list, Marco Amelia is set to start in goal.
The Blaugrana failed to win for the first time under their new manager on Saturday as they drew 0-0 with Osasuna, the first time in 64 Liga fixtures they have drawn a blank.  It has been a comfortable win over Ajax and then a late victory over Celtic which has given Barca two wins from two in the UCL group.
Manager Gerardo Martino has an almost full squad to choose from. If there is anything that Barça should worry about, this is Jordi Alba’s injury.Carles Puyol is likely to continue at centre-back, having made his first appearance since last season's 4-0 win over Milan at Osasuna on Saturday. Neymar and Lionel Messi will be flanked by Alexis Sanchez, meaning Pedro will be pushed to the bench.

Possible line-ups:
Milan (4-3-3): Amelia; Abate, Zapata, Mexes, Constant; Montolivo, De Jong, Muntari; Birsa, Matri, Robinho.
Barcellona (4-3-3): Valdes; Dani Alves, Puyol, Piquè, Adriano; Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta; Sanchez, Messi, Neymar.

Arsenal vs Borussia Dortmund Champions League 22 October, 2013

0 التعليقات

In undoubtedly the best match of this Champions League round, an in form Arsenal side will look to extend their lead at the top of group F against a Dortmund side that will hope to exploit their pace on the counter.
Arsenal started this year’s Champions League with two victories, at home over Napoli and away over Olympique Marseille. With six points they are currently leading the group F. In the English Premier League they are also doing well. Last weekend Arsenal won 4:1 against Norwich with Özil, Wilshere and super Ramsey getting onto the scoresheet. Without a doubt, the new Gunner, the German Mesut Özil has improved the style of Arsenal. His speed and technical skills together with great passes trigger to the fact that Wenger’s team is thought to be one of the favourites for winning both the Premiership and Champions League. Worth mentioning is also the fact that the Spanish midfielder, Santi Cazorla, is back to the first team.
Arsenal (4-2-3-1): Szczesny; Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs; Arteta, Ramsey; Ozil, Cazorla, Wilshere; Giroud.

Borussia Dortmund began this season of German Bundesliga magnificiently. Dortmund lost for the first time only during the 8. game, away against Borussia Mönchengladbach. The goalscorer, Robert Lewandowski, displays a great form already having scored six goals. Not much worse is his teammate, Marco Reuss who has already been recorded as the scorer five times this season. In the Champions League the Jürgen Klopp’s players are now second in their group. In the first round they lost to Napoli, conceding in Italy two goals while scoring only one. They improved in the second round when they won 3:0 against Olympique Marseille. The goalkeeper, Weidenfeller, returns to the first squad after one-match suspension caused by his red card against Napoli.
Dortmund (4-2-3-1): Weidenfeller; Großkreutz, Subotic, Hummels, Durm; S Bender, Sahin; Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan, Reus; Lewandowski.

Aston Villa vs Tottenham Hotspur 20-10-2013 Premier League

Aston Villa vs Tottenham Hotspur
2013/2014 English Premier League, Round 8
Date: 20.October.2013 - 17:00 CET - 11:00 AM EDT - 3:30 PM
Referee:‬ P. Dowd‎

Tottenham received a stern warning against complacency before the break as they saw West Ham take an unexpected 3-0 win at White Hart Lane. Despite this, the Hotspurs have enjoyed an impressive start to the 2013-2014 campaign under second year manager Andre Villas-Boas. The North London side have enjoyed the form of attacking midfielder Sigurdsson, especially in league play, and new English phenom Andros Townsend looks to build on his impressive display for England over the recent international break. The Hotspurs should be able to put Aston Villa on the backfoot early on and provide ample opportunities to find the back of the net. They've enjoyed ridiculous success against the Villains of late as Aston Villa haven't taken a single win since September of 2008 in any competition. Capoue, Kaboul, and Danny Rose will all be out. Aaron Lennon returns but will likely watch from the bench as Townsend gets his chance.

Aston Villa are currently on an unbeaten run of three league games, having won at Norwich and memorably beaten Manchester City at Villa Park, before being held to a scoreless draw at Hull two weeks ago.
Villa are still without long term absentees Charles N’Zogbia and central defender Jores Okore, but there is better news on Christian Benteke. He was on the bench for Belgium against Wales this week, and if fit, will replace Libor Kozak.

Possible line-ups:
Aston Villa (4-2-3-1): Guzan; Bacuna, Vlaar, Clark, Luna; Westwood, El Ahmadi; Weimann, Delph, Agbonlahor; Benteke.
Tottenham (4-2-3-1): Lloris; Walker, Dawson, Vertonghen, Naughton; Dembélé, Paulinho; Townsend, Eriksen, Sigurdsson; Soldado.

West Ham vs Manchester City 19 October, 2013 Premier League

0 التعليقات

West Ham United enter Saturday's fixture off the back of a spectacular 3-0 trumping of their London rivals Tottenham Hotspur. It wouldn't seem logical for Sam Allardyce to alter his team's side after they came away from their victory at White Hart Lane unscathed and healthy. They will still miss the likes of Andy Carroll, James Collins, and Alou Diarry, but the Hammers will look to thwart Pelligrini's powerful attack with the same resilience they displayed against the Hotspurs. Allardyce's men currently sit 13th in the league table with a 1-0-2 record at home.
  • West Ham United: Jaaskelainen - Demel, Rat, Tomkins, Reid - Reid, Noble, Diame, Nolan, Morrison, Downing - Vaz Te (Manager: Sam Allardyce)

Manchester City have faced questions this season about their sloppy away form, taking one point from three games and dropping all three points to the likes of Cardiff City and Aston Villa. While this visit to West Ham seems tricky, a powerful lineup including Yaya Toure, Sergio Aguero, and playmaker David Silva should provide plenty of goal scoring opportunities for Manuel Pelligrini's side. The Manchester club has scored at least 2 goals in 8 of their last 9 Premier League games. It is important to note that captain Vincent Kompany is a likely doubt for this match as he picked up a knock against Everton.
  • Manchester City: Hart - Zabaleta, Kolarov, Nastasic, Lescott - Milner, Fernandinho, Toure, Silva - Aguero, Negredo. (Manager: Manuel Pellegrini)

AS Roma vs Napoli Serie A - October 18, 2013

0 التعليقات

Stadio Olimpico - Roma will be hosting on Friday, October 18, 2013, an Italian Serie A match between AS Roma and Napoli.
Both teams have started the season extremely well despite losing key players and having to adapt to new managers. Roma have won all seven of their Serie A fixtures so far this season with a 20-1 goal difference! Convincing wins against Lazio in the derby and Inter away from home confirmed the Lupi as more than flat-track bullies. If they can win or at least draw against Napoli, they'll be confirmed as contenders.
As for the visitors, Benitez's men have also started the campaign in impressive form, winning six of their seven games with the only blip being a 1-1 draw with bottom side Sassuolo last month.
Having missed out on European football completely, Roma are now free of distractions this season. And they have also very few injuries. Destro is the only long-term absence while Balzaretti is suspended and will be replaced by Dodò. Ljajic and Gervinho are in contention but the Ivory Coast star should be in the starting lineup. Maicon is now fully fit and will play as right back.
On the other side, Benitez has some injury worries as Higuain, Maggio, Albiol and Zuniga have physical problems and might miss the match. Mertens should replace Insigne in the starting lineup despite the Italian international played very well with Italy against Armenia.
Roma won this fixture 2-1 last season and victory on Friday will leave Garcia’s side five points of clear of one of their main rivals for the Serie A title. The Giallorossi beat all their opponents this season at least by 2 goals margin (including Parma, Lazio, Sampdoria and Inter Milan).

Possible line-ups:
Roma (4-3-3): De Sanctis; Maicon, Benatia, Castan, Dodò; Pjanic, De Rossi, Strootman; Florenzi, Totti, Gervinho.
Napoli (4-2-3-1):
Reina; Maggio, Albiol, Britos, Armero; Inler, Behrami; Callejon, Hamsik, Mertens; Higuain.

Portugal 3-0 Luxembourg 2014 World Cup Qualifiers Highlights

Game Played on 15th October, 2013
Kick Off at 17:00 (GMT)
Half Time finished with scoreline 2:0
Game ended with scoreline 3:0

Eager to make up for their disappointing 1-1 draw against Israel in previous week, Portugal immediately set themselves into an attacking more from kick off, despite not having their star player, Cristiano Ronaldo in the line up as he was serving his suspension. The home side didn't seem to face much trouble in dominating proceedings, before eventually getting in front on the hour mark through Silvestre Varela. Six minutes later, the host extended their advantage, this time from an effort by Nani.
Leading by two goals in the first period were not enough for Portugal as they kept on playing their attacking game and eventually sealing that match with a third goal, which was scored by Helder Postiga on 79 minutes. Unfortunately, that comfortable win couldn't give them a direct ticket to Brazil as that success was grabbed by their rival, Russia, which finished in the top of table with one point above the European Selecao.

While England were able to put away Montenegro 4-1 at Wembley on Friday evening in a game which saw youth come to the fore, with a star-performance from debutant winger Andros Townsend, Poland succumbed to a 1-0 loss to Ukraine which put an end to their hopes of making it to Brazil. Poland have travelled very poorly this campaign, in what is expected to be Waldemar Fornalik's final game in charge. Anyway, they might perform better in a relaxed fashion and they do have players that can cause damage.
Of course, England's last positive result will count for nought should they fail to beat Poland on Tuesday evening. Ukraine (who play San Marino in their final match – an assured three points) beat the Poles 1-0 in Kiev to stay just a point behind England.
Roy Hodgson is expected to be without the injured duo Ashley Cole and Tom Cleverley, while Kyle Walker is unavailable having received a yellow card in the 4-1 thumping of Montenegro last friday night, so either Phil Jones or Chris Smalling will come in to provide cover.  Leighton Baines will continue at left-back. Man of the Match Andros Townsend should be rewarded having impressed on his debut with a place in the starting lineup and we should also see both Wayne Rooney and Daniel Sturridge lead the attack up front.
As for the Polish side, they are without a number of key players, the most significant of being Borussia Dortmund full-back Lukasz Piszcek, Sampdoria defender Bartosz Salamon and their promising young left-winger Maciej Rybus. Furthermore, Marcin Wasilewski may come in for Szukala (suspended).

Germany vs Ireland 3-0 Highlights 11-10-2013 World Cup Qualifiers

0 التعليقات
Germany sealed their place in next year’s World Cup with a comfortable 3-0 victory over manager-less Republic of Ireland in Cologne. Under caretaker boss Noel King, Ireland gave a better account of themselves than in a 6-1 defeat to the same opponents in Dublin last year but still couldn’t match up to a Germany side that needed just a point to ensure topping their group ahead of Sweden. Sami Khedira’s deflected effort put the home side in front early before the win was secured when Andre Schurrle scored just before the hour mark and Mesut Ozil skillfully added a third in injury time.

Denmark vs Italy October 11, 2013 World Cup qualifier

0 التعليقات

Parken, Copenhagen, Denmark will be hosting on 11 October 2013, an World Cup qualifier match (Group B) between Denmark and Italy. The match referee will be Stéphane Lannoy (France).
Denmark lie a point behind Bulgaria in Group B. That means they should rather win the last two games against Italy and Malta and hope that Bulgaria won't win their remaining two. The Danish missed their chances to stand much better on their own ground, where they couldn't win a single match yet. In Copenhagen they drew with the Czech Republic (0:0) and Bulgaria (1:1), then got even hammered 0:4 by Armenia in June. Coach Morten Olsen has nominated striker Nicklas Bendtner (Arsenal) for the last two matches. Bendter had been banned from the squad for the last half year due to drinking and driving. The rest of the Danish squad is not really special, captain Agger (Liverpool) and midfielder Eriksen (Tottenham) stand out.
  • Denmark lineups: : Andersen - Ankersen, Bjelland, Agger, Boilesen - Kvist, Zimling - Krohn-Dehli, Eriksen, Braithwaite - Bendtner.

Italy team have already managed qualification for Brazil 2014 when beat the Czech Republic 2:1 at home in the last match in September. Top striker Balotelli had scored the decisive goal by a penalty. His team mate from Milan El Shaarawy will miss the match in Copenhagen as it will miss midfielder Maggio. Italy still will send a very strong side to Denmark, they had made it to the final of the EURO 2012, also became third in the Confed-Cup earlier this year, where they were knocked out in the semi-finals by Spain not before a penalty shootout. Apart of two games the Italians won all matches in their qualifying group, but this two games were away against teams that are comparable with Denmark, away at Bulgaria 2:2 and at the Czech Republic 0:0.
  • Italy lineups: : Buffon - Chiellini, Bonucci, De Rossi - Pirlo, Montolivo - De Silvestri, Giaccherini, Candreva, Pasqual -  Balotelli.

England hopes to claim their fifth win in nine matches to bolster their position atop Group H. Their 4-4-0 record is good enough to lead Ukraine and Montenegro by one point and Roy Hodgson will impress on his players to remain focused. The group remains competitive as four of the six teams are still in the race to secure automatic qualification. Liverpool frontman Daniel Sturridge has been tipped to start alongside Wayne Rooney in the attack, while James Milner is likely to replace Theo Walcott on the wing.
Montenegro really need victory here if they are to give themselves a decent chance of progressing to Brazil, though – if other results go their way – a draw may suffice to see them to a second place finish and a possible play off. They have drawn two and lost one of their three most recent qualifiers and another defeat here would almost certainly take their destiny out of their own hands.
Coach Branko Brnović will be without key quartet Mirko Vucinic, Mladen Bozovic, Marko Basa and Milorad Pekovic for the trip to Wembley due to injury. Up front, Fatos Beqiraj is expected to partner Stevan Jovetic in the absence of captain Vucinic.
This will be the fourth time that England have played Montenegro and on each of the other three encounters, the best that the Three Lions could manage was a draw. The two teams met in Podgorica in March and played out a 1-1 draw, with England failing to build on Wayne Rooney’s early goal.

Possible line-ups:
England (4-2-3-1): Hart; Baines, Jagielka, Cahill, Walker; Wilshere, Gerrard; Welbeck, Milner, Rooney; Sturridge.
Montenegro(4-4-2): Poleksic; Jovanovic, Dzudovic, Savic, Volkov; Zverotic, Drincic, Krkotic, Boskovic; Jovetic, Beqiraj.

Juventus vs AC Milan 3-2 Highlights 06-10-2013 Serie A

0 التعليقات

Both teams looking eager to prove their worth early on and it was Milan that got off to a better start when Sulley Muntari puts them ahead after just a minute in the clock. That early goal apparently made Rossoneri turned rather negative, allowing their opponent to push forward, which eventually lead into an equalizing goal from Andrea Pirlo's free kick on 15 minutes.
Both teams continue to put on a solid display, not allowing much changes at either end, but just when things looked stalemate, an inspired substitution from Antonio Conte puts Juve in front as Sebastian Giovinco netting home on 69 minutes. In a chaotic situation, which saw Philippe Mexes got sent off for Milan, the home side took advantage and extended their lead through Giorgio Chiellini's rebound effort. Rossoneri threatened a come back with 10-men from Muntari's deflected effort, but there was just not much time for Massimiliano Allegri's men.

Juventus 3-2 AC Milan:
AC Milan 0-1: Sulley Muntari goal vs Juventus (1').
Juventus 1-1: Andrea Pirlo goal vs AC Milan (15').

Chelsea vs Norwich City 3-1 Highlights 06-10-2013 Premier League

0 التعليقات

Jose Mourinho's Chelsea claimed their first three-point haul away from home in the Premier League this season courtesy of a 3-1 win over Norwich City at Carrow Road.
Oscar opened the scoring after four minutes with a sumptuous, first-time finish from just inside the area, but Anthony Pilkington pegged the Blues back halfway through the second period.
A late flurry of strikes one from Eden Hazard on a blistering counterattack, one long-range golazo from Willian settled the matter, and the home side can feel hard done by after playing very well for long spells.

Juventus vs AC Milan Serie A 6 October, 2013

0 التعليقات

Juventus vs AC Milan Football Match will be played on Sunday, October 06, 2013 at Juventus Stadium, Torino, Italy for a Italian Serie A Match.
Juventus are now unbeaten in nine competitive games so far this season and have tasted defeat in only one of their last 19 Serie A outings. They had a frustrating week so far battling back from a goal down at home to Galatasaray – taking the lead with three minutes remaining – only to then concede an equaliser just seconds later.
Juventus striker Carlos Tevez will be looking to snap a three-game goal drought in this one while Vidal has been in decent goal-scoring form so far this season, with five goals in his last nine games for club and country. Both Licthsteiner and Vucinic are out of the big clash against Milan due to injury. Isla or Padoin will replace the Swiss international.Paul Pogba could be dropped to the bench.
  •  Juventus (3-5-2): Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Isla, Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah; Tevez, Quagliarella.

AC Milan’s disappointing start to the Serie A season eased with a 1-0 win over Sampdoria last weekend which moved them into ninth. Massimo Allegri’s side followed up the win with a hard fought 1-1 draw away at Ajax in Amsterdam which sees them sit second in their Champions League group with four points from two matches. Anyway, they have taken just eight points from a possible 18 in the Italian Serie A, and they have been leaking goals at the back – with 10 conceded in just six games.
Milan will most likely play a 4-3-2-1, using the sole striker in the form of Matri supported by Robinho and possibly Riccardo Montolivo or Urby Emanuelson partnering him whilst M’Baye Niang represents the only other attacking option off the bench. Mario Balotelli will miss this game through suspension. Birsa picked up an injury last week, leaving Allegri with little in the way of attacking options, especially since El Shaarawy is injured as well. Furthermore, Allegri will still be without Kaká, De Sciglio, Birsa, Silvestre, Bonera and Pazzini for this match.
  • AC Milan (4-3-1-2): Abbiati; Abate, Zapata, Mexes, Emanuelson; Poli, De Jong, Nocerino; Montolivo; Robinho, Matri.

Inter Milan vs Roma Italian Serie A 05-10-2013

Match Preview: Inter Milan vs Roma

Stadio Giuseppe Meazza - Milano
Referee:‬ P. Tagliavento‎

Possible line-ups:
Inter (3-5-1-1): Handanovic; Juan, Ranocchia, Campagnaro; Taider, Cambiasso, Nagatomo, GUarin, Jonathan; Alvarez; Palacio.
Roma (4-3-3): De Sanctis; Leandro Castan, Benatia, Torosidis, Balzaretti; Strootman, Pjanic, De Rossi; Florenzi, Gervinho, Totti.

Inter Milan are unbeaten this term, with a record of four wins and two draws leaving the Nerazzurri four points behind Roma heading into this clash. They leaked points on draws to Juventus and Cagliari.
Mazzarri will choose the starting eleven he trust more: a 3-5-1-1 with Alvarez and Palacio upfront (and Milito or Icardi ready to play in case of need). Taider and Kovacic will be in contention for a spot in midfield while Zanetti and Chivu are the long-term injuries.
Roma, under the management of Frenchman Rudi Garcia, are enjoying their best ever start to a Serie A campaign with six wins from six league matches and sit two points clear of Napoli and Juventus at the top of the table. Anyway, Roma have yet to take on top opposition in Serie A. Fourth-placed Inter Milan at the weekend will be the first occasion they do and the first real measure of Roma.
Despite some high profile departures from the Italian capital during the summer, in particular Erik Lamela to Tottenham Hotspur, it has not seemed to have had an ill-effect to the team. Defensively, they look rock solid having just conceded the one goal with only Parma able to breach their defence.
Bradley and Maicon will miss this important match through injury while Adem Ljaijc (three goals in 6 six appearances) is doubtful. Rudi Garcia should confirm the same starting eleven we saw against Bologna last week.
Roma have fared rather well against Inter Milan. Last year, they beat Inter twice in Coppa Italia and in Serie A they are unbeaten in their last four meetings with three wins and a draw. Last year, they managed a 1-1 draw on the away and a 2-1 win in the reverse fixture.

Anzhi Makhachkala vs Tottenham Europa League - October 3, 2013

0 التعليقات
Anzhi Makhachkala only drew 0:0 with Sheriff Tiraspol – probably the weakest club in this group – on the first game in EL. Anzhi’s performance has lately been very poor – out of the last five games they drew four! of them and lost one. They are at the bottom of the Russian Premier League table. When facing Tottenham they certainly have to show some extraordinary football-strength; moreover if the team want to get a satisfying result the players will be forced to show their best football so far, which seems to be quite unlikely.
Anzhi Makhachkala (4-4-2): Kerzhakov; Angbwa, Ewerton, Tagirbekov, Adeleye; Agalarov, Akhmedov, Sobolev, Jucilei; Burmistrov, Solomatin

Tottenham Hotspur won the first group-game against Tomsoe 3:0. In England they are third in the Premier League with only three points behind the leading Arsenal. Manager Villas-Boas's team is currently playing football not only pleasing for the eye, but effective as well. They will certainly try to win another game and confirm that the Tottenham is the only right favourite of this group. Quite a considerable amount of goals may be expected.
Tottenham Hotspur (4-3-3): Friedel; Naughton, Kaboul, Chiriches, Fryers; Holtby, Sandro, Dembele; Kane, Defoe, Lamela

Juventus 2-2 Galatasaray Highlights 03-10-2013 Champions League

0 التعليقات

There was terrific late drama in Turin as Galatasaray pulled off a 2-2 draw at Juventus in Roberto Mancini’s first game in charge of the Turkish giants.
Fabio Quagliarella looked to have won it on 87 minutes but Umut Bulut made it 2-2 on 88, which means The Old Lady have taken just two points from two matches and now have a double header against Real Madrid next up.
It wasn’t only the goals that caught the eye late on but (as ever) the antics of Emmanuel Eboue, the former Arsenal full back.
Eboue had a chance to win the match for Galatasaray in injury time and lay prone in the box, seemingly wasting time.

Juventus 2-2 Galatasaray (Group B):
36′ 0-1 Drogba D. // 78′ 1-1 Vidal A. // 87′ 2-1 Quagliarella F. // 88′ 2-2 Umut B.

Juventus vs Galatasaray 02-10-2013 UEFA Champions League

0 التعليقات
Juventus vs Galatasaray
2013/2014 UEFA Champions League, Group B

Juventus have been doing very well in Italy Serie A and they defeated Torino on the road. They are sitting with sixteen points in the third place. Coach Antonio Conte's side got a draw on the match day one in Denmark against Kopenhag. They are without Simone Pepe, Martin Caceres, Rubens Robinho, Marco Motta. Besides them, Carlos Tevez got injured seriously at the weekend. He is very doubtful ahead of this fixture.
Galatasaray failed to save their lead at home against Caykur Rize after the board fired coach Fatih Terim. Before they move to Italy, coach Roberto Mancini was appointed as the coach. He will not probably be able to use the long-term injury victim Hamit Altintop. Wesley Sneijder got injured in the last league fixture and he is doubtful. In their first group fixture, they got a heavy defeat in Istanbul against Real Madrid. So they need to take one point at least in order to keep their hopes alive for top two places.

Manchester City vs Bayern Munich Champions League 02-10-2013

0 التعليقات

On Wednesday, 2nd October 2013 at 20:45 (CET), Manchester City will host Bayern Munich at Etihad Stadium - Manchester for 2013/2014 UEFA Champions League, Group D.
Manchester City opened their Champions League account with 0-3 away win over Czech side Viktoria Plzen, Dzeko, Toure and Aguero all on mark for the day. City has struggled to perform in Europe since their rise to prominence in recent years, failing to even progress to the knockout stages in the last two seasons. Manchester drew the same group with Bayern Munich two years ago and the Bavarian giants won at home 2-0 before City responded in kind with a 2-0 win of their own at the Etihad. The Citizens have been undefeated at home in European competition for the last 20 games.
Manchester City (4-2-3-1): Hart – Richards, Kompany, Nastasic, Clichy – Toure, Garcia – Navas, Aguero, Nasri – Dzeko.

Bayern Munich is off to an incredible start domestically, dropping just two points in the opening seven matches and second to Borussia Dortmund on virtue of goal difference alone. Their Champions League account opened with similar flair, a 3-0 domination of Russian side CSKA Moscow just two weeks ago. The Bavarians last faced English competition in the UEFA Super Cup against Chelsea FC, a match that would be decided on penalties in favour of the German side. Pep Guardiola has a few injury concerns in the form of Alcantara and Martinez, but will welcome the return of summer purchase Mario Gotze to health for Wednesday night's match.
Bayern Munich (4-1-4-1): Neuer – Rafinha, Boateng, Dante, Alaba – Lahm – Robben, Kroos, Schweinsteiger, Ribery – Mandzukic.
