Antonio Conte's men managed just two points from their opening three
games. They lost 2-1 at the Bernabeu when a Cristiano Ronaldo's
first-half brace proved to be enough for victory and drew against
Copenhagen and Galatasaray. They are third in Group B, two points
adrift of second-placed Galatasaray.
Juventus team were boosted on Saturday by the return from injury of influential forward Fabio Quagliarella, who played the last 15 minutes of the 1-0 win at Parma. Since the defeat at Bernabeu and Florence against Fiorentina, Juve have won three straight games in Serie A without conceding a goal.
The Bianconeri will be without defender Giorgio Chiellini, though, after he was sent off in the reverse fixture last month.
Real Madrid team have conceded five goals and given up four penalties in their last two La Liga matches (both wins). The 3-2 win over Rayo Vallecano on Saturday, in which Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice, came on the heels of a 7-3 triumph over Sevilla.

Also Xabi Alonso could make his first Champions League start of 2013/14, having made his first competitive appearance of the season against Sevilla last week. Coentrao will miss the match through injury.
Juventus have a good record agains the Galacticos: they have won their last 4 home matches against Real Madrid in all competitions. Furthermore, there have been over 2.5 goals scored in 7 of Real Madrid's last 8 games in the Champions League
