Italian Serie A - Juventus vs Napoli
Match date: Sunday 10 November 2013
Kick Off Time: 19:45 UK (BST) - 6:45 p.m. GMT
Venue: Juventus Arena, Torino, Italy
Juventus vs SSC Napoli For the very end of the 12th round of Italian
Serie A has stayed a big derby that puts together two teams that
currently occupy second and third place at the table, having just three
points less than leading Roma.
Both teams stand on 28 points through 11 games and are only tied for
second because AS Roma currently leads with 31 points through 11 games.
Juventus have won five of their last six league matches, including last
weekend's narrow victory at Parma. Napoli have also recorded five wins
from their last six league outings, the latest coming against Catania
last Saturday.
As for the Champions League, Juventus relaunched their knockout phase
bid thanks to a 2-2 draw at home to Real Madrid which, although leaving
them bottom of Group B, keeps them within touching distance of
Galatasaray and FC Copenhagen. Napoli will take plenty of confidence to
Turin in the wake of a 3-2 win over Marseille which boosted their last
16 hopes.
Giorgio Chiellini will miss this important clash through injury. Juve will be also without Lichsteiner, Pepe, Caceres and Vucinic, who are all still injured. Ogbonna will be in the starting lineup since Conte will choose a 3-5-2 formation with Tevez-Llorente up front. Marchisio could be benched and replaced by in-form Pogba.
Napoli are set to welcome back defender Maggio following suspension, but Britos (collarbone), Zuniga and Mesto (both knee) miss out. The Partenepoei secured the free signing of Anthony Reveillere on Friday but the veteran defender is unlikely to feature. Hamsik could return for the visitors, after the striker was benched for the game against Marseille.
Possible line-ups:
Juventus (3-5-2): Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Ogbonna; Isla, Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, Asamoah; Tevez, Llorente.
Napoli (4-2-3-1): Reina; Maggio, Fernandez, Albiol, Armero; Inler, Behrami; Callejon, Hamsik, Mertens; Higuain.
