Juventus continue to hod down their table
topping position in Italian Serie A after grabbing a sound victory over
Udinese at Friuli on Monday.
Eager to maintain their gap with
second place seat, Roma, Juve took the attacking initiative from
kick off as they pushed forward vigorously from kick off. The Turin giant got themselves in front when Sebastian Giovinco scored after just 16 minutes of play.
That early goal gave further beliefs for Juventus players as they kept on venturing forward until eventually doubling their advantage through Fernando Llorente's strike on 26 minutes.
Udinese tried to get themselves back into the tie, but none of their efforts were enough to hurt their opponent. Until the final whistle was blown, no more goals were scored by both sides as Juventus came away with all three points from that early weekend tie.
