FC Barcelona team are
going through a rough patch right now. The Catalonians lost the last
two games – first Atletico Madrid beat them in the quarterfinal of the
Champions League (1:1 and 0:1), then they surprisingly lost the league
encounter against Granada (0:1) last Saturday. Because of that defeat,
Barcelona moved away from the Spanish La Liga, being one point
behind Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, that has one game more to play.
Two losses in a row are extremely disappointing for the team like
Barcelona. Is this already a crisis? It seems like it. The upcoming Copa
del Rey final against Real Madrid will be very challenging for
Barcelona. It could basically be the only chance for Catalonians to win a
trophy this season. Who would have thought!
Real Madrid can
be satisfied at the moment – they are in the UCL semifinal
and are still very in play for the Spanish championship. In the Champions League they
lost the second leg against Borussia Dortmund 2:0 but 3:0 home victory
was enough to advance. Every cloud has a silver lining. In the Spanish
Primera Division Real are second, having the same amount of point as
their local rival, Atletico Madrid (which has one game more to play). The 4:0
win against Almeria in the last league round is a good sign before the
upcoming game. They seem to be in a good shape and well prepared for the
encounter against the Catalonians.
