Juventus securing their place in the Europa
League semifinals stage after defeating Lyon one again in the
second leg of that competition.
Already taking a one goal lead
from the first leg battle, La Veccia Signora still putting on an
aggressive display on that match as they went 1-0 up after only four
minutes from Andre Pirlo's free kick.
The away side refused to
give up easily as they bounced back and got equalized on 18 minutes
through Jimmy Briand's finish on 18 minutes.
Both teams continue
to push for more goals in the second half, but it was Juventus that came
away with another win as they scored a second thanks to an own goal from
Samuel Umtiti on 68 minutes.
