Juventus ending their year in a positive way
as they grabbed an impressive away victory over Atalanta this Sunday,
keeping the Turin giant's spot at the top of current standings. Antonio
Conte's men were looking hungry since kick off as they took a quick lead
when Carlos Tevez got his name in the score sheet after just six
minutes of play. That early strike didn't scare off Atalanta easily
though as they managed to get back on level terms on 15 minutes with an
effort from Maxi Moralez.
Drawing 1-1 in the first 45 minutes,
Juventus reacted positively after the break as they immediately regained
their lead thanks to Paul Pogba's goal on 46 minutes. Atalanta tried to
get back on the math once again, but their effort was washed away when
on 75 minutes, Juve extended their lead through Fernando Llorente. From
that moment on, things were simply heading into the visitor's favor as
they eventually netted a fourth goal four minutes later from Arturo
Vidal's finish.
