The main favourite to win the UEFA Europa League this season, Manchester United team , has done a big job seven days ago in Vigo, as it defeated Celta Vigo 1-0 after a goal scored by
Rashford.
For sure, no one in Manchester doesn’t want to consider such
scenario, especially as the United triumphed in Vigo by 1-0 due to
Rashford’s excellent free kick in the 67 minute. Overall, the both teams
didn’t show much in the first semi-final match of the UEFA Europa League,
although coach, Mourinho, can be far more satisfied than his counterpart from
Celta Vigo, given that he, in fact, set a more defensive tactic, all with an
objective to preserve its goal intact in the first leg.
Since coach, Mourinho, got lucky after young striker, Rashford, free kick, it is believed that he won’t make many changes in tactic and the team that will play the second leg. Because of that he rested most of standards starters last weekend when they met Arsenal team in London. The Red Devils lost that match by 2-0, so it is now totally clear that the UEFA Europa League is far more important for Mourinho than the English Premiership, in which the Manchester United still has chance to reach the Champions League. Added that out of action are injured defenders: Rojo and Shaw, midfielder Young and forward Ibrahimovic.
Celta Vigo team can be only sorry for the conceded goal in the first semi-final match of the UEFA Europa League as they definitely deserved with their attitude and commitment to, at least, pull a draw before the second leg at the Old Trafford. Apart from that, ahead of them is new 90 minutes and the coach, Berizzo, has announced far more aggressive approach in the midfield, and he certainly hopes that the defence could repeat a fairly good performances from the first match, given that Celta Vigo received the only goal from the free kick.
Besides losing to Manchester United, Celta Vigo has a four-game losing streak in La Liga but this team has already secured its place in the middle of the table and it is no wonder whycoach, Berizzo, narrowly focuses right at the UEFA Europa League. Last weekend Celta Vigo went to Malaga and it played there with totally changed team compared to the one that faced the Red Devils, which resulted with high defeat of 3-0. Now at the Old Trafford it is expected to see again Celta’s strongest team at the pitch, while out of action are only from before injured goalkeeper Blanco and forward Rossi.
