FC Barcelona's reign at the top of Spanish La
Liga standings ended this weekend as they suffered a shock home defeat
from Celta Vigo.
Keen on redeeming themselves from last weekend's
league defeat from Real Madrid, Barcelona immediately put on an attacking
effort. It was not an easy task though for Barça to break
down their opponent's defense, especially during the first 45 minutes as
that period ended in goalless draw.In the second half, Barca continue to prize forward in search for goals, but instead of scoring they found themselves trailing when Celta scored through Joaquin Larrivey on 55 minutes.
No more goals were scored afterwards as Celta holding on to their lead until the final whistle was blown.
