Liverpool continuing their positive preseason
trend by snatching another impressive friendly win, this time they
defeated Dortmund 4-0 at Anfield.
Eager to show their
strength after Luis Suarez's departure, Liverpool immediately took
control of that tie as they went one goal up after 10 minutes from
Daniel Sturridge's effort.
Brendan Rodgers' men doubling their
lead three minutes later, this time from Dejan Lovren's fine header from
Steven Gerrard's corner.
After the break, Liverpool kept on pushing forward as they eventually netted a third goal from Philippe Coutinho's fine finish. Already leading 3-0, the Reds were not done yet though as they added a fourth goal on 61 minutes through Jordan Henderson.
