France vs Norway - Competition: International Friendly
Match date: Tuesday, May 27 2014
Kick Off Time: 20:00 GMT
Venue: Stade de France (Paris - St. Denis, France)

For the French team it was a tough journey to the World Cup in Brazil. They had to play two relegation games against Ukraine to fix their attendance in Brazil. Playing away in the Ukraine they lost the first game 0:2 and needed a miracle in the second match at home. But in the end they scored three times. The game ended 3:0 and they were able to book their flights to Brazil. In this year 2014 they played once against the Netherlands and won 2:0. Benzema and Matuidi scored already in the first half and the game was done. In June 2014 they will be playing another two friendly games. The first one against Paraguay, the second one against Jamaica. Keeper Mandanda will not be joining the team in Brazil. He will miss due to an injury. Manchester City Star, Samir Nasri will also miss the World Cup, manager Dechamps didn’t nominate him. The game against Norway will be a nice first test after a long season.
Probable lineups France: Lloris – Debuchy, Koscielny, Mangala, Evra – Mavuba, Cabaye – Ribery, Pogba, Matuidi – Giroud

For Norway a friendly game against France is always a prestigious event. France is still a big football nation and also a secrete favourite for the win of the World Cup in Brazil. In contradiction to France, Norway already played three friendly games in this year. France only played once against the Netherlands. Norway drew 2:2 against the Czech Republic in March. In January they won against Moldau and lost 0:3 against Poland. So it is obvious that the recent results haven’t been that impressive. The next two test games against France and Russia a couple of days later, will be important for Norway. Looking forward to the European Championship qualification they now need to find the right team for this next task. Their first opponent in the qualification will be Italy, a similar calibre like France or Russia.
Probable lineups Norway: Nyland – Linnes, Hangeland, Forren, Hogli – Nordtveit, Johansen – Jenssen, Tettey, Elyounoussi – Nielsen

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid 4-1 Highlights 24-05-2014 UCL Final

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid
Competition: Champions League Final
Match date: 24 May 2014
Venue: Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica

Real Madrid 4-1 Atletico Madrid (Final):
36' 0-1 Diego Godin // 90' Sergio Ramos 1-1 // 110' Gareth Bale 2-1 // 118' Marcelo 3-1 // 120' Cristiano Ronaldo 4-1

Real Madrid's quest for La Decima in Champions League finally ended on Saturday when they successfully defeated their city rival, Atletico Madrid to grab their tenth title.
The final score line didn't really show how tight that game was as both teams put on such solid and intense display straight from kick off.
Both teams tried hard in getting that important early goal, but it was Atletico Madrid that earned it thanks to a header from Diego Godin on 36 minutes, capitalizing on a goal keeping error from Iker Cassilas.
Madrid tried hard to get themselves back into the tie, as they push forward vigorously right after the restart.
Los Blancos relentless efforts were finally rewarded when Sergio Ramos snatched a late equalizing goal in stoppage time rescuing his team from a potential defeat during the first 90 minutes.
Conceding that late equalizer seemed to take the tools out of Atletico, not to mention they were without Arda Turan and lost Diego Costa early in the first half.
That situation was by taken as an advantage by Madrid as their individual prowess finally sparked during that extra time battle, starting with Gareth Bale's goal on 110 minutes.
Before Marcelo basically sealed Madrid's victory with his long range shot on 118 minutes and Cristiano Ronaldo also added his name into the books after scoring from the spot kick just before the final whistle was blown.

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid Champions League final - May 24, 2014

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid
Competition: Champions League Final

For Real Madrid winning the Champions League is a make or break: if they will succeed they will make history of their club by securing ‘La Decima’ - the 10th European Cup success. They have looked by far the strongest side as proven by the hammering against Bayern in Munich. Before of that  they ahave eliminate Dortmund with a 3-0 home win but they made life difficult when losing the return 2-0.
Xabi Alonso received his third yellow card of the competition in Munich and is suspended. Jesé is Carlo Ancelotti's only main injury concern while Morata, Benzema and Lopez should be regularly available for selection.
Atletico Madrid team are coming off their draw against FC Barcelona, which netted them the La Liga title. They knocked out a number of former champions along the way to the UCL final: AC Milan, Barcelona and Chelsea. Their performance at Stamford Bridge in the second leg of their semi-final showed how deadly they can be but the likely absence of Diego Costa could make this a step too far against their cross city rivals.
Simeone is not yet certain if he will be able to count on their main star Diego Costa and on the versatile Turkish midfielder Arda Turan. Raúl García could therefore start alongside David Villa in attack.
The Colchoneros are particularly strong in defence and conceded just 26 times domestically in Primera Division. They kept 20 clean sheets and failed to score in just five of their league games. Furthermore, they are the only unbeaten team in the Champions League this term. Traveling is no concern as Atletico have found the net in all of their European matches outside of Madrid this season.
Real Madrid won a Copa del Rey tie by 5-0 on aggregate (but three of those came on own goals) and have only 2 of their last 30 competitive games against their city rivals. Anyway, Atletico have lost just two of their last six encounters with their more decorated neighbours.

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid previous meetings:

28-09-13 Primera División Real Madrid 0 – 1 Atlético Madrid

Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munchen
Competition: German DFB Pokal Final
Match date: 17 May 2014
Kick Off Time: 19:00 BST
Venue: Olympiastadion, Berlin, Germany

Borussia Dortmund 0-2 Bayern Munich (DFB Pokal)
107' 0-1 Arjen Robben // 120' 0-2 Thomas Muller

Bayern Munich finishing up their season on a positive note as they won the domestic double after getting their hands on DFB Pokal title by defeating their arch rival, Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
Battling to snatch the last possible title for them this season, both sides were looking really aggressive straight from kick off. Both teams were putting on a solid display though, making it difficult for them to break down each others' defenses.
Despite their attacking approach, none of them were able to score any goals during the 90 minutes mark, forcing that tie went into extra time.
During that additional period, it was Bayern Munich that got things going as Arjen Robben opened the scoring on 107 minutes. Getting themselves ahead made things much more easier for Bayern Munich as they eventually manage to double their lead with an effort from Thomas Muller just before the final whistle was blown.

Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid La Liga - May 17, 2014

Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid - Competition: Spanish Primera Division

FC Barcelona enter Saturday’s clash with Atletico with a great chance to triumph in Spain once again. With a victory at the ever-intimidating Camp Nou, the Catalonian club can clinch their 5th La Liga title in 6 years. It is a fortunate turn of events for the hosts, as none of the top 3 clubs in Spain have won their last 2 league matches. However, Barca are unbeaten in their last 5 matches in all competitions and defeated Girona 3-2 in the semifinals of the prestigious cup of yesteryear, the Copa Catalonya. Espanyol won the other semifinal, and a classic encounter is on the cards for next week. But full focus and intent will be on this Saturday, and the Blaugrana must find a way to stop leaking cheap goals at the back. In their last 3 matches in all competitions, they’ve conceded 4 goals, which may not be a substantial tally, but considering the opposition of Getafe, Elche, and Segunda Division Girona, they really should be doing better. Getafe netted late on when Barcelona just had to withstand a few minutes of pressure, but the aging backline conceded another crucial goal and the hosts are admittedly lucky to even have a chance at claiming the Spanish crown here. In 5 matches against Atletico Madrid this season, Barcelona have drawn four times and lost once. Long-time goalkeeper Victor Valdes has played his last game in a Barcelona uniform.
Atletico Madrid team have blown two straight opportunities in La Liga action that would’ve ultimately won them their first title since the 1995-1996 season. Now, they must obtain at least a draw at the boisterous Camp Nou, where the hosts have won 6 of their last 7 league matches. It has been a puzzling turn of form for the visitors, who after clinching their place in the Champions League final and claiming pole position for the Spanish crown, lost 2-0 at Levante and then drew at home with Malaga 1-1. In fact, they’re perhaps a bit lucky to still be in such a strong position. However, Los Rojiblancos boast the league’s strongest defence, and they’ve only given up 7 goals from their last 16 matches in all competitions. Furthermore, Barcelona have failed to win in all 5 meetings this season, managing to score just twice on manager Diego Simeone’s troops. Both of those goals came from Brazilian attacker Neymar, whose fitness is currently uncertain for Saturday. While striker Diego Costa is questionable leading up to the weekend with a bad hamstring, sources claim the Spanish goal-machine will be available to start. Diego Simeone will need to find a way to calm his men before kickoff, as the hosts certainly have more experience and thus the potential psychological advantage.

Barcelona last 5 matches:
12/04/14 Granada 1 – 0 Barcelona
16/04/14 Barcelona 1 – 2 Real Madrid
20/04/14 Barcelona 2 – 1 Athletic Club
27/04/14 Villarreal 2 – 3 Barcelona
03/05/14 Barcelona 2 – 2 Getafe

Atletico Madrid last 5 matches:
18/04/14 Atlético Madrid 2 – 0 Elche
22/04/14 Atlético Madrid 0 – 0 Chelsea
27/04/14 Valencia 0 – 1 Atlético Madrid
30/04/14 Chelsea 1 – 3 Atlético Madrid
04/05/14 Levante 2 – 0 Atlético Madrid

Sevilla vs Benfica Europa League final - May 14, 2014

0 التعليقات
FC Sevilla vs Benfica Lisbon - Competition: Europa League − 2013/2014 − Final

Sevilla advanced to the great final after unbelievable and dramatic encounter with another Spanish team - Valencia. In the first leg Sevilla managed to win at home 2:0. The second leg was a completely different story - Valencia was winning 3:0 after 70 minutes and were theoretically in the final. But at the end the incredible had happened – 15 seconds before the end of additional time (95th minute) M’Bia scored the 3:1 and secured the final for FC Sevilla. This moment was obviously a bitter one for Valencia and of course lucky for Los Rojiblancos. Furthermore, it was the only sunshine in a cloudy period of time. Sevilla haven’t been able to win 4 games (3 defeats and a draw). What may concern them is that they lost their last league game against Getafe 1:0. However Europe League seems to be a completely different story for Sevilla this season. Considering their position in the Primera Division they can be sure about their participation in the next Europa League Season. But now they want to win this one of course.
Benfica was better than Juventus. Surprise, surprise! Portuguese won the first leg 2:1 and drew goalless the second. This encounter was also very dramatic - Benfica ended up playing with only 9 players, after Perez and Marković got the red card. The team from Lisbon showed they can win with everyone and survive everything. It is a very good time for Benfica, not only in EL. They won the Portuguese championship having 7 points more than second Sporting Lisbon. Overall in the last 48 games they lost only 4 games, drew 6 and won 38. However Benfica lost their last league game against FC Porto 2:1 but the manager Jesus left his best men resting before the big game in Turin. A little bit of a problem could be the absence of the two booked players but the team will certainly do their best to fulfil the gap. Benfica still have a chance to win the triple crown – apart from Portugal championship and EL, they will play for the win in the Portuguese Cup against Rio Ave on Sunday.

Balaidos, Vigo- 11 May, 2014 - Spanish Primera Division

Celta Vigo 2-0 Real Madrid:
43' Charles 1-0 // 64' Charles 2-0

Wasting away their chances in getting closer at the top of La Liga standing, Los Blancos were determined in redeeming things as they travel to Celta.
However, it was another difficult contest for Carlo Ancelotti's men as Madrid found themselves trailing by a goal during the first 45 minutes as Celta scored through Charles two minutes before half time break.
Madrid tried to get back on level terms, but instead of grabbing that equalizing goal, they found themselves in bigger trouble when Charles completed his brace on 63 minutes.
No more goals occurred on that tie as Los Blancos are officially out of the La Liga title race this season.

Inter Milan vs Lazio Italian Serie A 10-05-2014

0 التعليقات

Inter Milan vs Lazio - Competition: Italian Serie A
Match date: 10 May 2014 - Kick Off Time: 19:45 GMT

Inter Milan can be happy but not satisfied, at least not yet. After 36 rounds Inter occupy 5 place in Serie A having 57 points. At first sight it looks like a good number but if you compare this to the Juventus having almost 100 points, Inter’s achievement seems, to say at least, extremely poor. Inter still have to protect their position in the league table which secures Europa League spot for the next season. The difference between 5th Inter and 10 Hellas Verona is only 4 points, the same as 9th Lazio. It will be very difficult time for the hosts, because of the fact that there are only two games left in the league season. They will shiver to the very end. The upcoming game against the Romans will certainly be tough one but the bookies seem to favour the hosts. However  Inter had some ups and downs lately – two draws, two wins and finally last Sunday defeat against AC Milan 1:0 are hardly good signs before the upcoming game.
Lazio Roma still fight for the better position in the league table. Currently they are occupying 9 place in Serie A losing 4 points to the EL spot. The 5 place is still possible to achieve but they have to win both against Inter Milan and Bologna. This last two league matches have to be won but they can still be not enough. The competition for the EL place is very big and it will be extremely difficult for Lazio to achieve it. Moreover the Romans don’t have the best form at the moment – in the last 8 games they managed to win only 3, losing 2 and drawing 3 as well. The upcoming game will obviously be tough for them but on the other hand they drew against AC Milan in March, so perhaps they can at least repeat the result against Inter.

SSC Napoli 3-0 Cagliari:
33' 1-0 Mertens // 43' 2-0 Pandev // 57' 3-0 Dzemaili B.

SSC Napoli immediately took control of situation as they put on an aggressive display right from kick off.
Napoli's positive approach was rewarded on 33 minutes when Dries Mertens puts them in front from the spot kick.
Things continue to get better for the Partenopei as 10 minutes later they double their advantage through Goran Pandev's effort. Already taking a comfortable two goals lead in the first 45 minutes, SSC Napoli kept on pushing forward and eventually adding their lead with an effort coming from Blerim Dzemaili on 57 minutes.

Real Madrid vs Valencia - Competition: Spanish Primera Division
Match date: 4 May 2014
Venue: Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, Spain

Real Madrid 2-2 Valencia
44' 0-1 Jeremy Mathieu // 59' Sergio Ramos 1-1 // 65' 1-2 Daniel Parejo // 90' Cristiano Ronaldo 2-2

Real Madrid failed to make major advancement in current La Liga standings as this weekend they were held into a draw by Valencia at Santiago Bernebau.
Knowing that their two rivals dropped points in their previous league fixtures, Madrid were keen on snatching maximum result against Valencia. It was not an easy task though for Carlo Ancelotti's men as El Che put on a solid display on that day, creating many difficulties despite playing away.
The visitor proved their quality as they got themselves in front just before half time break with a goal coming from Jeremy Mathieu. Madrid worked hard to get back on level terms and they were able to do it when Sergio Ramos equalized on 59 minutes.
However, trouble arrived again for Los Blancos as Valencia regained their lead with an effort from Dani Parejo on 65 minutes. It took a while for Madrid to fought back, but they did manage to salvage a point when Cristiano Ronaldo snatched an equalizing goal in stoppage time.

AC Milan vs Inter Milan - Italian Serie A, Matchday 36
Sunday, 4 May 2014 - 20:45 GMT
San Siro, Milan, Italy

AC Milan will take on their neighbours and rivals of Inter Milan at the mythical San Siro for the Derby della Madoninna on Sunday night. The two giants of Italian football are suffering from a poor season but neither will want to lose this match.
AC Milan is currently on the 10th position in the Italian Serie A. That won’t matter when they will meet Inter Milan on the next match day. Because it is a derby it’s a special game anyway and almost everything is possible in those games. It is all about winning this prestigious game. AC Milan actually still has chances to reach the Euro League positions but it won’t be easy to do so. The gap between them and the Euro League are six points. Exactly the gap between them and their big rival – Inter. With a win AC would make very important three points against a direct opponent. But we will see. The last performances actually were quite impressive. Despite the late loss against Roma on the last weekend with 0:2, AC Milan was able to win all the four games before. Good signs short before the derby.
A special game is coming. Inter Milan change sides and will be hosted at their own home stadium by their old league and town rival, AC Milan. Inter is eager to win this battle. Not just because it is a derby, they want to secure their Europa League attendance in the next season. Now they are on a good fifth position in the Italian Serie A. The gap between them and the following team Torino FC are five points. They need two more wins to be safe and what could be better than an important first win against the AC Milan. Their late performance was quite well. During the last weekend they hosted SSC Napoli and didn’t lose against them. The game ended with a 0:0 draw. So the last five games happened without a loss. Two times out of the last five they won, three times they drew. We will see who is going to be the happier Milan team after this next game.

Fiorentina vs SSC Napoli Coppa Italia final - May 3, 2014

AC Fiorentina vs SSC Napoli
Competition: Coppa Italia − 2013/2014, Final
Match date: 3 May 2014
Venue: Stadio Olimpico, Rome, Italie

Vincenzo Montella’s men can approach the final with confidence having won in Naples in March. So they have beaten SSC Napoli twice this season and, furthermore, they have recorded three wins in previous four league matches, with the team netting no less than 10 goals in those encounters.
Cuadrado misses out with a ban following a booking in the second leg of the semi-final with Udinese. Mario Gomez is still out of contention while Giuseppe Rossi might recover in time to play a parta against Partenopei. Other good news come from Borja Valero and Gonzalo Rodriguez as both have resumed training.
SSC Napoli team head into the match against Viola following back-to-back draws with the likes of Udinese and Inter Milan. They need just one more point to secure the 3rd place Champions League spot which they could easily get against Sampdoria or Cagliari who they play next week at home. Napoli has eight points more then Fiorentina in the Italian League.
Higuain is expected to start after recovering from an ankle problem, while Christian is also available for selection. If the former Real Madrid striker fails to recover, Zapata should play in the starting-lineup. Goalkeeper Rafael and right back Zuniga remain sidelined.

Fiorentina (4-3-3): Neto – Tomovic, Rodriguez, Savic, Pasqual – Aquilani, Pizarro, Valero – Joaquin, Matos, Ilicic.
SSC Napoli (4-2-3-1): Reina – Henrique, Albiol, Fernandez, Ghoulam – Inler, Jorginho – Callejon, Hamsik, Mertens – Higuain.

Valencia's excellent home record in the tournament proved to be a serious threat for their opponent as the home team's aggressive play earned them an opening goal from Sofiane Feghouli on 14 minutes.
El Che eventually drew level on aggregate when an own goal from Beto on 26 minutes also made it 2-0 for the host.
After the break, both sides tried to push forward vigorously as they search for that winning strike.
Valencia were looking to be the winner in that tie when Jeremy Mathieu scored on 70 minutes, but in stoppage time Sevilla ruined the home fans' party as Stephane M'bia scored that important away goal.
Despite losing 3-1 on that match, the away goal rules helped Sevilla in taking that ticking into Europa League final.
