Arsenal vs FC Barcelona
Competition: UEFA Champions League
Date: Tuesday, 23 February - Time: 19:45 GMT
Venue: Emirates Stadium, London, United Kingdom

Arsenal team side have won 11 and lost only one of their last 15 home games in all competitions. They drew a blank at home against Hull City in the English FA Cup on Saturday but things do look a little better in the Premier League as they recently beat title rivals Leicester City at EMirates to close the gap at the top of the table to just two points.
Wenger rested several key players last weekend. The French manager has passed Ozil fit but Mikel Arteta will miss the game due to a calf injury. The Spaniard joins Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere, Gabriel Paulista and Tomas Rosicky on the sidelines. Aaron Ramsey, Olivier Giroud and former Barca forward Alexis Sanchez are all likely to be back in the starting line-up.
FC Barcelona are unbeaten across all competitions for over four months (32 matches) and hold an eight-point lead at the top of La Liga. They have won 12 and lost only one of 20 road fixtures in the 2015/16 campaign. The Catalans have already reached the Copa del Rey final, and an unprecedented second consecutive treble seems to be within their grasp.
Luis Enrique brings an almost full squad to London this week, with only Arda Turan ruled out through suspension and the injured Rafinha. The coach will be boosted,by the return of defender Gerard Pique, who was rested at the weekend, and defensive midfielder Sergio Busquets from suspension. Suarez, Neymar and Messi are all expected to start as usual while Rakitic and Iniesta will feature in the middle of the park.
The Gunners have been eliminated at this stage of the competition in each of the last five seasons. Arsenal and Barcelona's seven previous UEFA Champions League encounters have produced 27 goals, an average of 3.86 per game.

Probable lineups:
Arsenal: Cech – Bellerin, Paulista, Koscielny, Monreal – Coquelin, Ramsey – Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, Sanchez – Giroud.
FC Barcelona: Bravo – Dani Alves, Mascherano, Pique, Jordi Alba – Rakitic, Busquets, Iniesta – Messi, Suarez, Neymar.

Chelsea vs Manchester City 21-02-2016 English FA Cup

0 التعليقات

Chelsea vs Manchester City
Competition: English FA Cup
Date: 21 February 2016 - Time: 16:00 GMT
Venue: Stamford Bridge, London

Chelsea team come into this game on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Paris-SG in the first leg of the last 16 tie of the UCL, the first loss under new manager Guus Hiddink. In EPL, the Blues are in 12th position in the table, they are an incredible 20 points off the top of the table and also 14 points off the top four. As consequence, the FA Cup presents their best chance of ending the season with a trophy.
John Terry will not win his fitness race in time to feature, Kurt Zouma suffered a serious knee injury last week and this means that Branislav Ivanovic will start as central back. New signing Alexander Pato is still short of match fitness. Matic was suspended for that defeat in Paris and will return to the starting XI here. Ruben Loftus Cheek will also be hoping for some game time here.
Man City have suffered back-to-back home defeats against their title rivals Leicester City (1-3) and Spurs (1-2) in Premier League. Those results have left the former Premier League champions in fourth position in the table, but they are still just six points off the summit. They will fly to Ukraine to face Dynamo Kiev just 24 hours after Sunday's showdown and will also face Liverpool in the final of the League Cup next weekend. Hence, this FA Cup tie could not have come at a worse time for Pellegrini's men.
The Citizens are missing Kevin De Bruyne, Samir Nasri, Jesus Navas and Fabian Delph while the likes of Wilfried Bony, Eliaquim Mangala and Bacary Sagna could return from their respective injuries to make the bench. Vincent Kompany may also be rested with City carefully managing his return to the first team. With only 13 senior players available to play, youngsters such as Kelechi Iheanacho, Bersant Celina, Brandon Barker, Aleix Garcia and Manu Garcia are all expected to play at some stage.
Chelsea were beaten 3-0 at Man City in the only clash between the two teams this season and the Blues have only won one of the last five matches between the two sides in all competitions.

Probable lineups:
Chelsea: Begovic – Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Cahill, Baba – Matic, Fabregas – Willian, Oscar, Pedro – Diego Costa.
Manchester City: Caballero – Zabaleta, Otamendi, Demichelis, Kolarov – Fernandinho, Fernando – Celina, Garcia, Sterling – Iheanacho.

Roma vs Real Madrid Champions League - February 17, 2016

AS Roma vs Real Madrid
Competition: UEFA Champions League
Date: 17 February 2016 - Time: 19:45 GMT
Venue: Stadio Olimpico, Roma

AS Roma team enter the match on the back of 4 consecutive wins in Serie A and now sit fourth in the Italian top flight. They beat 3-1 Carpi away last Friday and have lost just one of the 16 competitive fixtures they have played at home this term. Anyway, the Giallorossi were extremely fortunate to qualify to the knockout stage of the UCL. They won just one of their six Group E games and had a worse goal difference than Bayer Leverkusen, but the head-to-head fell in their favour thanks to a 3-2 win on home soil. Their poor defensive record saw them concede 16 times in 6 matches - a record for a team reaching the knockout stages.
Luciano Spalletti is set to have veterans Totti and De Rossi available for the match but only the midfield has chances to start the match. Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah is doubtful while Kevin Strootman has returned to training, but remains sidelined with his long-term injury. Should Salah be passed fit, he could either start on the right or up front at the expense of Edin Dzeko.
Real Madrid team have made a solid start under the guidance of Zinedine Zidane. The Frenchman has led his side to four victories and one draw in his first five La Liga games in charge. Under Rafa Benitez, Los Blancos collected 16 points from a possible 18 as only PSG managed to take something off them when the two clubs drew at the Parc des Princes. Anyway, they have conceded in seven of their last nine matches in all competitions and on the road they have only kept one clean sheet in their last eight fixtures. In La Liga, they have a four-point deficit to in-form league leaders Barcelona, who have a game in hand.
The Galacticos travel to Italy without Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Pepe, who are both out through injury. Danilo is expected to start as right back while Isco has been tipped to return to the midfield three, with Rodriguez likely to continue on the right of Benzema in a 4-3-3 formation. Cristiano Ronaldo, the Champions League leading scorer this season with 11 goals, will complete the attack for the visitors.
Roma were turned over 6-1 by Real's rivals Barcelona earlier in this competition. Real Madrid, meanwhile, have failed to win any of their last eight away games against Italian teams, drawing four and losing four of those.

Probable lineups:
Real Madrid: Navas – Danilo, Varane, Ramos, Carvajal – Kroos, Modric – Rodriguez, Isco, Ronaldo – Karim Benzema.
Roma: Szczesny – Rudiger, Manolas, Zukanovic – Florenzi, Pjanic, Nainggolan, Digne – Salah, Dzeko, Perotti.

It is a sequence that has seen them move up from 11th in the league to 2nd. They have conceded just once in the previous nine games and kept seven consecutive clean sheets.  Khedira, Mandzukic, Martin Caceres and Giorgio Chiellini are all sidelined. Leicester City vs Manchester City Premier League - 06-02-2016

0 التعليقات
Manchester City vs Leicester City
Competition: English Premier League
Date: 06 February 2016 - Time: 12:45 GMT
Venue: Etihad Stadium, Manchester

Man City team have gone seven matches without defeat in all competitions but enter this match on the back of a disappointing narrow win over Sunderland (0-1) in midweek. They have won 9 of their 12 league matches at Etihad and scored 33 times in the process. Indeed, only one team (Everton) have stopped the Citizens from scoring in their last 27 competitive games on home soil.
Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Jesus Navas is ruled out with the leg muscle problem and could hand a recall to Raheem Sterling. Furthermore, the Chilean is without injured quartet Nasri, Eliaquim Mangala, Wilfried Bony and Kevin de Bruyne while Kelechi Iheanacho could find himself dropping to the bench, then, with Sterling out wide and Yaya Toure potential shifted into the attacking midfield three. Pablo Zabaleta and Aleksandar Kolarov are likely to replace Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy as full backs.
Leicester maintained their advantage at the top of the standings with an impressive 2-0 win over Liverpool in midweek. Should Man City win, they will pull level with Leicester - but if Ranieri's unlikely frontrunners can snatch three points, they will finish the weekend at least five and possible six points clear at the top of the league.
Claudio Ranieri looks set to name an unchanged starting XI once again. Shinji Okazaki will be expected to provide support to lone striker Jamie Vardy in the 4-4-1-1 formation with Mahrez and Albrighton on the flanks. Danny Drinkwater and N’Golo Kante will start in central midfield while Danny Simpson, Robert Huth, Wes Morgan and Christian Fuchs are expected to continue at the back for the Foxes. Jeffrey Schlupp is the only sidelined player.
Manchester City have won four of the last five matches in all competitions, including a 2-0 success at the Etihad in the league last season while the sides shared the points with a 0-0 draw at the King Power in December. The Citizens have the best home record in the league so far, but no team has taken more points on the road than Leicester as they have lost just one of their 12 away matches thus far this term.

Probable lineups:
Manchester City: Hart – Sagna, Otamendi, Demichelis, Clichy – Fernando, Fernandinho – Sterling, Yaya Toure, Silva – Aguero.
Leicester City: Schmeichel – Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs – Mahrez, Drinkwater, Kante, Albrighton – Okazaki, Vardy.
