Bayern Munich vs Wolfsburg German Super cup - 1st August 2015

0 التعليقات

Wolfsburg vs Bayern Munchen - Competition: German Super Cup

Wolfsburg team recently took part in the Emirates Cup but it was not a successful trip as they lost 2-1 to Villarreal on the Saturday before going down 1-0 to hosts Arsenal a day later.
Die Wolfe have added German striker Max Kruse to their ranks but Kevin De Bruyne likely to head the list of high profile absentees as he looks unlikely to recover from injury in time. The Belgian will probably join other doubtful players like Bas Dost, Ivan Perisic, Luiz Gustavo and Aaron Hunt on the sidelines. Luiz Gustavo has only been back from injury for one week and won't be part of the squad, meaning Maximilian Arnold and Josuha Guilavogui should start in central midfield.
Bayern Munich have recorded victories over Valencia and Inter during July but they did suffer a penalty shootout loss in their last game against Guangzhou Evergrande after a bore draw.
The Bavarians may have let club icon Bastian Schweinsteiger leave to join  Man United, but they have signed Arturo Vidal from Juventus and Douglas Costa from Shakhtar. Robben, Muller and Lewandowski are all fully fit again while cesntral defenders Badstuber, Dante, Javi Martínez and Benatia will most likely miss the match due to injury and fitness concerns. Rafinha is likely to play as right centre-back. Ribery is a long-term absentee.
Bayern München are seeking to avenge their 4-1 Bundesliga shocking defeat against Wolfsburg in January - their first league loss of the 2014-15 season. The sides have not shared a draw in any of their last 10 encounters. But the Wolfsburg 4-1 win back in January was Die Wolfe’s only triumph over Bayern in the last 10 attempts.

AC Milan vs Inter Milan
Competition: International Champions Cup
Match date: 25 July 2015
Kick Off Time: 13:00 BST
Venue: Shenzhen City Stadium

This will be Milan’s fourth pre-season friendly of the season after 5-1 wins over Alcione and Legnano and a 2-1 loss at the hands of Lyon. The Rossoneri need to work hard in order to strenghten their defense and their new manager Sinisa Mihajlovic is the ideal coach to achieve this goal.
Carlos Bacca from Sevilla, Andrea Bertolacci from Genoa and Luiz Adriano from Shakhtar have all joined the club while El Shaarawy moved to AS Monaco. Only the Colombian striker is expected to start. He will join Honda and Matri up-front. Suso, De Jong and Bonaventura should be the starting trio in midfield.

Inter Milan team has already played a friendly match in China as they battled and lost to the German club Bayern Munchen on Tuesday, 0-1. Prior to that match, the Nerazzurri beat Stuttgart Kickers 4-3 and Carpi 4-2 in Italy.
New signings Miranda and Murillo will miss the match so Juan and Ranocchia are expected to start as central defenders. Other fresh acquired players such as Kondogbia and Montoya will probably start. Hernanes is likely to play as trequartista behind Palacio and Icardi while Shaqiri is set to move to FC Schalke 04 and will not be risked.

24/05/15 AC Milan 3 – 0 Torino
30/05/15 Atalanta 1 – 3 Milan

Manchester City vs Roma 5-4 Keita misses

Manchester City were looking to take control of things early on with their new signing, Sterling being the main attacking threat.
Sterling didn't take long to show his potential as he opened the scoring for Manchester City after just three minutes of play. That lead didn't last too long though as five minutes later, AS Roma equalized with a long range strike from Miralem Pjanic.
After the break, despite doing a host of changes, both sides still look competitive as Man City once again got themselves in front, this time through Kelechi Iheanacho on 51 minutes.
The Italian side refused to give up though as they got back on level terms for the second time, through Llajic three minutes from time. That match have to be settled with a penalty shoot out and it was Manchester City that came out on top when Joe Hart saved Seydou Keita's kick.

Club America vs Manchester United International Champions Cup - 18-07-2015

Club America vs Manchester United - Competition: International Champions Cup

Club America managed a second-place finish in the Mexican Clausura last season and have lost their International Champions Cup opener against LA Galaxy (1-2) but then beat San Jose Earthquakes (2-1). However, with a number of pre-season matches already under their belt, Las Aguilas will step onto the pitch both fitter and better prepared than their illustrious opponents.
Dario Benedetto left the 'Quakes game with his left foot in a protective boot so is presumably a doubt for this one. Quintero is set to retain his starting berth up-front as well as Andrade (who scored a screamer last time out) in midfield.
Manchester United are the current holders of the pre-season tournament, beating Roma, Internazionale, Real Madrid and Liverpool on route to the title. While Robin van Persie may have departed, the Red Devils enjoyed arguably the best preparation for the new season in the transfer market of any Premier League side.
Man United's starting XI is tough to predict, given Van Gaal is likely to include some youngsters in the side. It will be good to see the likes of Andreas Pereira, Sean Goss, Paddy McNair and James Wilson being given a chance ahead of the coming season. Michael Carrick is over his late-season ankle injury while Victor Valdes has been excluded from the squad. Anyway, all eyes will be on new signings - Depay, Darmian, Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin.

America last 5 matches:
30/04/15 Montreal Impact 2 – 4 America
03/05/15 America 3 – 1 Toluca
10/05/15 Atlas 1 – 2 America
14/05/15 Pachuca 3 – 2 America
17/05/15 America 3 – 4 Pachuca

Manchester United last 5 matches:
26/04/15 Everton 3 – 0 Manchester United
02/05/15 Manchester United 0 – 1 West Brom
09/05/15 Crystal Palace 1 – 2 Manchester United

Chile vs Argentina Copa America final - 04-07-2015

0 التعليقات

Chile vs Argentina - Competition: Copa America − 2015 in Chile − Final

Chile's path to the final always looked relatively straightforward. They easily topped Group A and after the group stage they recorded two wins over Uruguay (1-0) in the quarter finals and Peru (2-1) in the semi finals. Since that shoot-out loss against Brazil at the 2014 World Cup, Chile have won 10 and drawn 4 of 17 matches
Jorge Sampaoli could be without star player Alexis Sanchez for the final. Arsenal's striker is struggling with injuries and he is rated very doubtful. The hosts will also still be without Gonzalo Jara, who serves the second of his three-match ban and Eugenio Mena is expected to come in.
Argentina team went on to top Group B thanks to a 1-0 win over Uruguay and Jamaica, following their 2-2 draw against Paraguay in the opening match. They met Paraguay again in the semifinals and their 6-1 demolition was very impressive. Gerardo Martino has won 10 and drawn 1 of 13 matches since assuming control of the national side in the autumn of last year.
Gerardo Martino has little reason to make changes to his team and so the likes of Carlos Tevez, Gonzalo Higuain and Ezequiel Lavezzi will all start on the bench. Messi, Aguero and Di Maria will lead the line once again. Ezequiel Garay is favourite to start in central defense ahead of Martin Demichelis.
Chile have never won a major international tournament in their history. Furthermore, La Roja have beat Argentina only once since 1987. La Albiceleste have won 8 and drawn 3 of their previous 12 matches against the Chileans including 3 of their last 4.

Probable lineups:
Chile: Bravo – Isla, Rojas, Medel, Mena – Diaz, Aranguiz – Valdivia, Vidal – A. Sanchez, E. Vargas.
Argentina: Romero – Zabaleta, Demichelis, Otamendi, Rojo – Biglia, Mascherano – di Maria, Pastore, Messi – Aguero.

Match date: 4 July 2015
Kick Off Time: 20:00 GMT
Venue: Nacional (Santiago, Chile, Republic of)
