On Sunday, 22nd September at 14:30 (CET), Arsenal FC will host
Stoke City at Emirates Stadium for Round 5 of the 2013/2014 English
Premier League.
Arsenal enjoyed a winning start to their Champions League group stage
campaign with a 1-2 away win over Olympique Marseille in France. Gunners
are now on a six match winning streak in all competitions and have the
opportunity to go top of the Premier League with a win over Stoke on
Sunday. Arsene Wenger has no new injury concerns and may welcome back
Mikel Arteta into the squad after the Spanish midfielder resumed
training this week.
Stoke preserved a three game undefeated run with a 0-0 home draw
against Manchester City last weekend. Mark Hughes will be pleased with
the current form and hope the Potters are capable of a similar feat at
Emirates. Peter Crouch is expected to replace Kenwyne Jones in the
attack. The Trinidad and Tobago striker has not managed to find the net
in four games this season.
