Napoli vs Juventus - Competition: Italian Serie A

SSC Napoli beat Lazio 5-0 last weekend, the second "manita" after the 5-0 win over Club Brugge in Europa League, but then the Azzurri were held 0-0 at newly-promoted Carpi in midweek. The Partenopei have drawn three of their last four matches and currently sit 12th in the league, 9 points from the summit.
Maurizio Sarri has a clean bill of health ahead of this match. Mertens and Insigne are likely to start with Gonzalo Higuain in attack. Jorginho is likely to replace Valdifiori in the middle of the park along with Allan and Hamsik.
Juventus team enter this match on the back of a Wednesday’s 1-1 disappointing home draw against rock-bottom Frosinone, a result that followed a surprising win against Man City in the Champions League and the first Serie A win over Genoa last weekend. They are 13th in the standings having clinched five points from their opening five games Juve, 10 points adrift of Inter Milan.
Buffon is expected to returning to action but Martin Caceres, Marchisio, Sami Khedira and Mario Mandzukic are all out injured. Patrice Evra and Alex Sandro are in contention to patrol the left flank. Coach Max Allegri could revert to the 3-5-2 with Juan Cuadrado in midfield and the likes of Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata up-front.
Napoli team have scored 12 goals in their three home matches so far this season. Juventus have only mustered five goals from 106 shots on goal this season. Juve and Napoli met three times last season, the former completing a league double but losing in the Super Cup on penalties. The Partenopei have won only one of their last nine Italian Serie A games against the Old Lady but the last 8 meetings at the San Paolo have seen the Juve winning only once, with five wins for Napoli.

Manchester City vs Juventus Champions League - 15-09-2015

0 التعليقات

Manchester City v Juventus - Competition: Champions League
Match date: Tuesday, 15 September 2015, 7:45 PM.
Venue: Etihad Stadium, Manchester, United Kingdom

Man City head into Tuesday's game buoyed by their imperious early-season form. They have recorded five straight English Premier League wins, a sequence made even more impressive by the fact that they are yet to concede a goal. The Citizens enter this match on the back of a tough 1-0 win at Crystal Palace on Saturday, courtesy of a goal scored by the Nigerian youngster Iheanacho.
Sergio Aguero was forced off during City's last-gasp victory at Crystal Palace and has been ruled out. Anyway, Pellegrini will have both Raheem Sterling and David Silva available. Wilfried Bony is expected to deputise for the injured Aguero given that Iheanacho is ineligible. Pablo Zabaleta and Fabian Delph, meanwhile, will definitely be unavailable for the hosts.
Juventus are struggling in the Italian Serie A having earned just a single point from the first three fixtures. The Bianconeri lost They their opening two matches against Udinese and Roma and only a Paulo Dybala's late penalty eventually salvaged them a point at home against Chievo last Saturday.
Midfielder Claudio Marchisio has been ruled out of action for a month. Sami Khedira remains sidelined, so Juventus' midfield is in emergency. New signing Hernanes could start as playmaker in a 3-5-2 system with Dybala and Manzukic paired up front. After an impressive performance against Chievo, Juan Cuadrado should be in the starting XI.
The Citizens team have a poor record in UCL and they have only won two of their last 10 games in this competition (D2 L6) and just three of their 11 home Champions League games to date. City are taking part in their 5th Champions League campaign but they have never made it past the last 16.

Probable lineups:
Manchester City: Hart – Sagna, Kompany, Mangala, Kolarov – Fernandinho, Yaya Toure – de Bruyne, Silva, Sterling – Bony.
Juventus: Buffon – Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini – Lichtsteiner, Pogba, Sturaro, Hernanes, Evra – Morata, Mandzukic.

Germany vs Poland Euro 2016 qualifiers - September 04, 2015

Germany vs Poland - Competition: UEFA Euro Qualifying

In their 10 matches since lifting the World Cup trophy,Germany team have been far from completely convincing having won only five of those games, losing three and also dropping qualification points in a 1-1 home draw with the Republic of Ireland. Anyway, Die Mannschaft can leapfrog Poland to the top of the group table by winning this fixture.
Joachim Low is expected to make wholesale changes from the side that thrashed Gibraltar 7-0 in their last outing back in June. Max Kruse was on the scoresheet twice in that game and the Wolfsburg frontman could well lead the attack again. Marco Reus has suffered a fractured toe which has ruled him out of the game. Ozil is also out thorugh injury.
Poland head to Frankfurt leading Group D and aware that another win this Friday would take them to the brink of qualifying for Euro 2016. They are the only team in Group D yet to taste defeat but have drawn four of their last six fixtures.
The main selection issue for Poland head coach Adam Nawalka is whether to partner Arkadiusz Milik with Lewandowski, or just play with the Bayern striker as a lone forward. Szukala and Glik are likely to retain their berth as central back while Szczesny will likely start between the posts depsite Fabianski is in great form.
Die Mannschaft suffered a 2-0 defeat when the sides met in Warsaw last October, and it was Poland’s first ever over their neighbours in 19 attempts. Germany’s record at home is incredibly strong. Joachim Low’s side have not been beaten in their last 20 home qualifying games and their last three games in this campaign have been won without even conceding a goal.

Probable lineups:
Germany: Neuer – Ginter, Boateng, Mustafi, Hector – Schweinsteiger, T. Kroos – Reus, Ozil, T. Muller – Volland.
Poland: Szczesny – Olkowski, Glik, Szukala, Rybus – Krychowiak, Maczynski – Grosicki, Zielinski – Milik, Lewandowski.
